  1. VonnegutFan -- there certainly are a lot of threads about this topic on GottaDeal.com: http://forums.gottadeal.com/search.php?searchid=95730
  2. I've ordered from several of these sites and not had a problem. The ones that have a "sponsor-funded" price means that you may receive e-mails from the sponsor... But with free e-mail accounts so easy to get, this shouldn't be a problem... For instance, there's mail.yahoo.com, www.hotmail.com, www.gmail.com, www.mailnation.com, etc. It takes 10-12 weeks for the first issue to arrive. If you are thinking of Christmas gifts, you may want to write a note or pick up a copy at *gulp* the news stand and gift wrap that... Most of these places don't send out announcement cards, www.deltamagazines.com might and if they do then they're the exception. Most of these sites that have the amazing prices are all Yahoo Stores and if they do any funny business, not only will they have to deal with your Credit Card's personel, but also risk losing their site from Yahoo.
  3. Prices below are only going to be offered on the day they are listed with... Boxing Day

    http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileys/Nasties/spar.gif Boxing Day? http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileys/Nasties/icon1.gif
  5. Kandy -- Sounds like the one I linked to in another of yellowlilax's threads: http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?p=193287 (post #3) The link I posted is for an online purchase, but they probably have it online too.
  6. Actually, it's 24 minutes or less -or- you get a $24 gift card: http://www.circuitcity.com/ccd/lookLearn.do?cat=-13415&edOid=105455&c=1&cm_sp=sitewide%20banner-_-24%20minutes%20or%20$24%20gift%20card%20PICKUP%20GUARANTEE-_-see%20details
  7. For an answer, just read my signature...
  8. I walked into our CC at 8:30 am and they were still swamped. I saw a lady in line with 20 DVDs in her hands and I said, "WOW! That's a lot of movies to watch tonight!" She told me that she'd been waiting in line for 3 hours and the line hadn't moved in an hour and a half. With that, she put down her movies and walked out. We followed her and her daughter... Our CC is dark and depressing anyway.
  9. That's is certainly one way to think about it, but I save the $30 membership fee at least 30-times over the course of the year (at least $900+ vs. "regular stores").
  10. Ah, it might even be 24 AAs w/charger for $16.54. I only remember the price, and the fact that there were a LOT of them in the blister pack.

Is this the "new cool thing" that all of the online sites are doing? I never heard about this till a day or two ago. We need a history of CM like yu guys did the history of BF... http://blackfriday.gottadeal.com/History And which one of you is going to write the Wikipedia entry???? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Search?search=cyber+monday&fulltext=fulltext
  12. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16838111121 $43.95 + $3.95 s/h http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.gsp?product_id=4228528 (This is an all-in-one scanner, copier, printer) $49.88 plus s/h
  13. Did the babies really get ditched in line? That's horrible! http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileys/jk.gif
  14. For the MP3 players, you may want to think about rechargable batteries... Probably cheaper in the long run. My Sam's Club has 16 packs for AAs with charger for like $16.54.
  15. Holy Cow, Sperdue... That's a lotta batteries! Building your own back-up generator??? http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileys/jok.gif
  16. I wanted the 200GB Hard Drive for $29.99 AR and the DVD-RW for $19.99 AR from Staples, but that didn't happen. I got everything else.
  17. My wife buys her Coach bags at the Coach outlet at VF Factory Outlet. Go to www.vffo.com, see if there is an outlet center near you and if they have a Coach outlet...
  18. At OfficeMax of BF, I bought a Lite-On DVD Recorder for $69.99 AR. I had it on my list, but hadn't really given it much thought until we were standing in line. I didn't even mention it to my wife till we were pulling in the parking lot of OM. Due to room re-decorations, both VCRs were banished to the basement months ago (we do have a 20" TV down there, so this meant that if you wanted to tape something and watch it later, you'd be in the basement... I have a TV tuner installed in one of my computers, but the recording software is difficult to understand, at best. So, now we can record to DVD-Rs, DVD+Rs, or DVD-RWs (all single layer). And I can easily copy over VHS to DVD... I have to admit, I haven't really played around with it since I got home yesterday, but it seems pretty cool.
  19. Wife and I left the house a 4:45 am... Sam's Club No Kate Spade purses that my wife liked... Bought a DVD/VCR combo for in-laws to give to my B-I-L Bought a $25 Sam's/WM gift card for wife's Aunt to give to someone else (Both things we could've bought any time before Xmas) Dunkin' Donuts Our brand-new DD had 2 free donuts w/purchase of 24 oz. coffee Office Depot 1 GB SD Card - $29.99 AR 1 GB USB Flashdrive - $29.99 AR USB Mini Keypad - $2.99 AR (picked up for a friend) MS Wireless keyboard/mouse - $19.99 AR (picked up for a friend) Two 25-packs of Maxell DVD+Rs - $4.99 each 27" Olevia 16:9 LCD TV - $499.99 AR (plus $129.99 for 3 yr protection) Staples Couldn't find anything on my list except for the Brother Labeler that OfficeMax also had on sale, so we left. OfficeMax Brother PT-1180 Labeler - $9.99 AR D-Link Xtreme G Router - $39.99 AR Refurbished 1315 All in One - $29.99 (picked up for a friend) Family Tree Software - FAR (picked up for a friend) Two 200GB WD Hard Drives - $59.99 each (picked up for a friend) Lite-On DVD Recorder (like a VCR, but it records to DVDRs and DVD-RWs) -$69.99 AR We were also able to use two $25.00 off coupons at OfficeMax, so we saved an additional $53 (incl. tax) beyond the rebates. Marshals Didn't find anything. Bed Bath & Beyond Digital Tire gauge for $9.99 after coupon A.C. Moore Two puzzles for friend to give to her kids for Xmas, we had 60% off coupons, but both items were already on sale so coupons were invalid. VF Factory Outlets Wife bought Bobby Brown bronzer for $20.54, two shirts and a pair of pants, and a $240 purse marked down 50% off and the owner of the store knocked an additional $30.00 off just for her.

    cyber Monday!!!

From what they are saying on Fox News, big online retailers will be having sales online on Monday. Check out www.amazon.com, www.newegg.com, www.buy.com, www.overstock.com, etc.
  21. I wanted the 200GB Hard Drive for $29.99 AR, and the DVD-RW for $19.99 from Staples, but that didn't happen. I got everything else.
  22. Nope, I got the $499 AR 27" Olevia 16:9 LCD from OD.
  23. http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileys/iagree.gif
  24. Oh, yeah, sorry... Yes, I got the card!
  25. We would've skipped Sam's Club. They only had eight of the Kate Spade purses for $119.00 and some lady ahead of us bought all three of the only nice looking ones...
