  1. Hmmm, what's the GOTTADEAL coupon for geeks.com? Also, maybe I should have my coffee, because I read the thread title as "1000s of Cats"
  2. I just buy the Energizer rechargables from Sam's Club. Yeah, if you are going through a lot of batteries, rechargables should pay for themselves.
  3. I am too, for stuff like digital cameras... But for TV and stereo remotes, I just use alkalines.
  4. I don't have any right now, but I've tried WalMart's "house brand" of batteries and thought they were as good as the Duracell/Energizers.
  5. Sam's Club has Coke in little glass bottles.

  7. I misread your threads title... I was thinking Mercury Capri: http://www.robbinsautotopco.com/capri.jpg
  8. Our nearest JC Penney's is a Penney's outlet, so they don't participate in the sales...
  9. I got tires for the Alero at Sam's too. It's tough to beat the lifetime tire rotation and balancing (and roadside warranty).
  10. I'll back Keith up by saying that I also own a laptop that's included in the lawsuit. It's a POS. Buy one, you can swear at it with us. Read this thread: http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=20398
  11. I am still waiting for the $200 rebate... The Web site says it is still being processed! To make matters worse: the TV is defective, and is now boxed up waiting for UPS to come pick it up. No TV and no rebate. In 5 days, the TV (and the rebate) will be 5 months old!
  12. Right... that's what I was trying to say.... It won't solve the OP's request.
  13. Picasa is great, but it won't do what the OP is requesting: "I'm looking for something that you can change pics to black and white pics, with something in the picture staying in color". But, Picasa is very easy to use, and makes it very easy to keep track of your photos.

Replacing a 100-watt incandescent with a 32-watt CFL can save you at least $30 in energy costs over the life of the bulb." http://www.energystar.gov/index.cfm?c=cfls.pr_cfls
  16. Brings that Ebay Shipping Prices Too High Thread to mind, eh?
  17. Photoshop is challenging for the beginner, and at $649.00 retail, it is quite expensive. And Gimp, although it's free and many GottaDealers recommend it, is equally challenging as Photoshop. Personally, I use Macromedia's Fireworks, but at $299, it might be a little expensive for someone just getting their feet wet. Maybe something over here: http://www.photo-freeware.net will do what you want. They're all freebies. (I've never used Photoshop Elements, so I can't comment on it). If you definitely want Photoshop, consider picking up an older edition on ebay.
  18. Uno Chicago Grill sends me a free entree coupon to be used in the month of my birthday (August). http://www.unos.com (just join their Insider's Club)
