What's the point of Lamaze? To pay salaries for the instructors? Give expecting parents something to do? I've never heard of it working for anyone.

lesliepear - free after rebates are the best! I read somewhere that only 40% of the people out there send their rebates in... That's how they can afford to offer those. I'm definitely in the 40%!

I get the Allentown paper delivered, but three years ago I went to BF @ BB in Wyomissing (the other direction from my house, 'cause the Allentown BB is pretty far away) and the some of the deals were different. http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileys/Nasties/doh.gif Now I'll pick up a Reading paper (Reading, PA) on T-Day so I know I have the "right" ads.

I'm sure there are BF clubs where people really get organized and pick up stuff for eachother.

It's only brownie points if you weren't planning on going there in the first place. You're just being considerate & nice. :)

Alimpf -- we do McD's for breakfast on BF too. I have warm clothes, comfortable shoes, breath mints or candy, and tissues (I'll share the tissues with the "snifflers" who may be nearby too).

Last year, my Grandfather's second wife wanted a complete computer set-up to replace her Windows 98 desktop. So, before BF, I bought her a laptop and case. In my mind, BF and laptop selection don't mix -- too crazy. Then on BF, I bought the Sony DSC-P72 digital camera, media card, media card reader, all-in-one printer (and USB cable) and plenty of photo paper. She doesn't get around as well as she used to (she lives in one of those assisted living complexes), and definitely wouldn't have wanted wait in those lines... She really appreciated it. And I saved her $270.00 in rebates! I do also offer every year to pick up stuff for my wife's cousin who always has to work, but he always turns me down... Who (if anyone) do you buy for?

I *LOVE* the free-after-rebate stuff!!! Camera media cards, mousepads, (small) media cards, usb hubs, etc.

I think this year will be our first without touching a credit card.
