I can't believe I didn't think to post this sooner... From their site: "How Does yourmusic.com Work? Yourmusic.com is an exciting music subscription service that's as simple as it is inexpensive. All CDs are just $5.99 each. Plus, shipping and handling is always FREE!" Every month they send you the next CD in your music queue... At any time you can have 'em send you additional CDs for the same $5.99 price each (Christmas IS right around the corner). There is NO minimum commitment. Potentially, you could join for one month, get as many CDs as you need for Christmas (at $5.99 w/free shipping) and then cancel. This is run by BMG Music, so you have their music library to choose from, but not those inflated s&h prices... The catch? If you don't have any CDs in your queue, they'll still charge you the $5.99 per month. But that should never happen, you can put as many CDs in your music queue as you'd like. I've been a member for 4 months now. Let's compare: Kelly Clarkson's Breakaway CD (great CD by the way) Yourmusic.com $5.99 (free ship) vs. Amazon.com $13.49 (and you need to spend $25.00 to get free ship) Maroon 5's Songs About Jane CD (another great CD) Yourmusic.com $5.99 (free ship) vs. Amazon.com $13.49 (and you need to spend $25.00 to get free ship) ...you get the idea. www.yourmusic.com

Phone card with cheap pay phone surcharge
Marcster replied to kranky's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
Did you doube-check my info on the 8 minute premium? I haven't used my calling card in soooo long... -
The reason that Fast Food places don't have BF deals is because they don't have to. They could raise the prices on BF and still be busy because no one would want to go to a Denny's (etc.) for a sit-down breakfast.

Glad you like it... I have sooo many smilies in my photobucket.com account. http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileys/awcrap.gif http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileys/tissue.gif http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileys/worthless.gif

It's an anchor store (HUGE) at our nearest mall.

I have a Harbor Freight like 12 minutes away. Only been in twice, I usually end up going to Lowes/HD instead. I saw that 3-in-1 Oven w/ Griddle, Coffee Maker & Toaster Oven at another store. The griddle is on top of the unit. It seems a little odd to griddle anything 12" above the surface of your counter!

True, true.

Happy to help. In an ideal world, it wouldn't matter... And you could leave your doors unlocked, keys in the ignition, etc.

Glad to see things worked out for ya!

Disney -- is this in Brazil? http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileys/thinking.gif 'Cause my BB circular from the newspaper has that computer for $299.97 after all rebates. And only $60 more for the 512MB of Ram, 160GB Hard Drive, and it steps up to a 3300+ Sempron (faster). Hmm, in either case, I'd kick in the $60 to upgrade. Either computer would do what you want, but for the additional 20% cost, you'll have a faster computer w/more Ram, which will extend it's usefulness. You shouldn't have a problem encoding video to DVD from your camcorder, but it will be slower then if you bought a Pentium D or AMD Athlon 64 based computer. All the more reason to spend the extra $60.

pmdemey -- having your e-mail address "exposed" like that will lead to a LOT of SPAM. You owe it to yourself to read this: http://ezinearticles.com/?How-To-Avoid-Spam-Robots&id=70969 I recommend you PM one of the moderators, Brad or Rossman to have your forum name changed!

What do you plan to do with it? (surf, graphics, documents, etc.) It should be fine for anything short of intense graphics and video manipulation. And it's def. not a gaming computer. And DVD playback *will not* rival your living room set-up. 256MB of RAM isn't a lot -- it's the minimum recommendated by Microsoft. Consider purchasing an additional 256MB or 512 MB chip, they're really easy to install (5 minutes) (instructions are included) or have BB do it for $29 if you aren't comfortable. My parent's eMachines fried it's RAM after 1.5 years, but that was a simple fix and inexpensive fix, once I narrowed that down. YMMV.

OfficeMax, Staples, and Office Depot.

This year I'll be armed with the frequent shoppers cards of Staples, OfficeMax, and Office Depot (already had the BB card last year).

cthulhu -- The price of the 1905fp is close to that of "no-name" monitors! For instance, OfficeMax has a 19" StarLogic for $269.99 this week. But the StarLogic only has a 600:1 contrast ratio, the 1905fp has an 800:1 ratio. Here's a snippet of what CNet had to say: "With above-average image quality and a competitive price, the Dell 1905FP is well worth the money. The 19-inch LCD retains the basic look and flexible design of its predecessors--though the stand feels a bit sturdier--and it offers the same height adjustment range of about five inches. It also smoothly tilts, swivels, and rotates from Portrait to Landscape mode." Cheap monitors tend to lack the ability to adjust for height, they rely on angle adjustment to be comfortable to view. 5" of height adjustment plus angle adjustment should be enough! Portrait mode is great for surfing Web pages (less scrolling).

If no one tells you before then, I'd be happy to measure it for you when it arrives. Or, go here: http://www.epinions.com/pr-Dell_UltraSharp_1905FP_19_inch_Flat_Panel_Monitor_with_Height_Adjustable_Stand/display_~full_specs http://reviews.cnet.com/Dell_UltraSharp_1905FP/4507-3174_7-31232074.html?tag=sub For the most part, owners seem to love their 1905fp: http://www.epinions.com/pr-Dell_UltraSharp_1905FP_19_inch_Flat_Panel_Monitor_with_Height_Adjustable_Stand/display_~reviews http://reviews.cnet.com/Dell_UltraSharp_1905FP/4505-3174_7-31232074.html

http://www.oneshare.com -- Single shares of real stock, in a frame. Definitely a gift they won't already have. I bought my parents stock in United Airlines and my in-laws, Disney. Sign up for their e-news, they have two different stocks on sale each month. But order early, it'll take 6 weeks to procure the stock. Or if you are going to their house for Christmas, you could have a florist prepare the centerpiece (or if you aren't going there, but know they're having people over, you could send a centerpiece through FTD or any of the other online flower places). They do some amazing things with evergreens, holly, candles, etc. For instance: http://images.send.com/106186_big.jpghttp://www.greenwayflowers.com/xmas/lg_crimson.jpg You could also do a "real" decorated evergreen wreath. You can also get 'em delivered (FTD, etc.) -- if you're having it sent, you can send it pre-Christmas, they last a LONG time! We buy one for our house each year, so much nicer than the fake ones.
