I think your calendar is a little off.

You know.... I actually considered starting this thread a few times today. http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileys/cheers2.gif

Update: If I wasn't already married, I'd consider marrying my 1905fp. I consistently use it in it's tilted mode. It makes the screen taller than it is wide -- Perfect for reading e-mails and web pages with out scrolling, great for looking at long lists of things. But because the native screen resolution is 1024 x 1280, there is no need to scroll horizontally while viewing the monitor in tilted mode. Double-check your video card's capability to rotate your screen if you are interested in using this feature. Most recent ATI and Nvidia cards will support this though.

Dave -- You will be able to fully apreciate that 256 MB video card now... :)
-
David -- It should be quite a difference. 512 MB is the recomended min. to run windows. Anything above that is better, esp. when it comes to games!
-
Ross -- I can't say, but this is a quote from someone on the newegg.com site, under the "reviews": "N/A, 10/20/2005 10:36:56 AM The cheapest DDR2 SODIMM I found This DDR2 SODIMM works in Dell Inspiron 6000, 9300, XPS, but not earlier model (such as 700m). It also works in the new revision of HP DV4000. The new DV4000 supports dual channel with even different memory modules in the 2 slots. I could not wait to put this in my new DV4000 which will arrive next week." So, take that for what it's worth...

This thread reminds me of this one: http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=16807 :)

Djbklb -- My local Sam's Club has two systems with wireless suround sound speakers. Do you have one of those nearby? 600 Watts or more should be fine, unless you like waking up the neighbors. Personally, I just drilled holes in the floor of my living room and fished the wires across the ceiling of my basement.

My guess is that this thread: http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=17109 will need to be updated. Especially info like this: "We had a record 1,311 new registrations on 10/24 which broke our previous record set last November."

I know that different countries celebrate Christmas differently... Disneytati -- What are Brazilian Christmas traditions, foods, presents(?), Santa, carols, etc. I'm sure that other Gottadealers would find it interesting too.

My nearest CompUSA is 42 miles, according to their Web site.

NogginBoink -- yep, a lot of their tools are made of overseas and have a very cheap feel to them. Which is perfectly o.k. for something you're only going to use once in a great while, like tin snips... but this is not acceptable for a often used tool, like a hammer.

Tracy72 -- in addition to what is printed on the passes (http://tinypic.com/f4pjqv.gif)... There is this stuff: http://www.sears.com/data/advertisements/sears/FriendsandFamilyKmart.pdf http://www.sears.com/data/advertisements/sears/FriendsandFamilySears.pdf The two links above are PDF documents and require you to have Acrobat Reader installed on your computer (it's free). Don't have it? - go here: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

To everyone who can't get the K-Mart/Sears F&F e-mail: Just go here and print out your passes: http://tinypic.com/f4pjqv.gif It clearly says, "Forward this email to a friend right now and share these great savings!" so I don't see anything wrong with creating a pic and directing you GottaDealers to it... And there you have it. http://tinypic.com/f4pkis.gif

You can read my opion of my Dyson here: http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=16321&highlight=dyson -
I'll second that. All those chocolate and/or fancy gift baskets are super-cheap!

No Contest: A Christmas Carol. In the original B&W. I have a DVD of a color version that was done in 1984 with George C. Scott as Scrooge, and I have the Muppets Christmas Carol on VHS, but I'm still looking for a DVDs of the really old B&W versions. I also have the cassettes of Patrick Stewart narrating A Christmas Carol.

Yeah, the prices are insane. $1.99 for a 30-second snippet and the audio quality isn't the best... Or, $.99 for the whole song from iTunes. And then you can make your own custom ringtone...
-
Verizon... hmmm. I don't know, you could ask customer care. I was thinking the other day that if the ringtone cost you $1.99 and you could only use it 10 times that it would be like $.20 a call. That would be pretty awful. I have a feeling that the ringtones are yours to keep... But they won't be transferred if you buy/get a new phone in the future.

Hmmmmm, just found one. Maybe I was wrong... ViewSonic N2010 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16824116356&ATT=LCD Vladimir S., 10/18/2005 9:20:14 AM Resolution Is Way Too Little Purchased this in October 2005 because it seemed like a good value for a 20' TV. Item arrived the next day, NewEgg is the best! Upon arrival I was surprised to see the poor quality of picture, and especially weird colors when displaying pinks, bright reds and bright blues. Other then the poor quality of the image TV looked great (physically). Resolution on this TV is way to little 640x480. It should be around 600x800 to experience a decent picture. Newegg has been great on the return thought.

IMHO, for Viewsonic to "add" a TV tuner to a LCD monitor is a very natural transition. By that I mean, I would expect a Viewsonic LCD TV to be every bit as good as their computer monitors. That being said, I couldn't find ANY reviews of it, either by Googling or through Epinions...
-
Meghan -- Viewsonic is a HUGE manufacturer of computer monitors (LCD & CRT).
