  1. My pleasure, MrAustin! I think we're going on Sunday.
  2. No, the handling on my order was $5.20. I ordered the 1905fp, and the Podium Coolpad as my "filler" item. Monitor was $275.30, Coolpad was $24.95 less 10%= $22.45 plus $5.20 handling, plus tax = $321.12. I just, and I mean I just finished setting it up (I'm looking at it now as I type this). First impressions: It comes with both the standard video cable and the DVI cable (so it is ready for the future), the monitor acts as a USB hub (two on left side, two on the back). Screen rotation is VERY cool. Make sure your computer's video card supports it if you plan to use it. The height adjustment is counter-balanced so you don't need to tight a thumbscrew or something. And the cord maintenance flaps in the back are a nice touch. Update: and no dead pixels according to what my eyes see with the help of this site: http://www.gdargaud.net/Hack/DeadPixels.html
  3. When I was in hgh school, I drove a bunch of my friends down to 3rd Street Jazz and Rock (a record store in Philly). One of my friends wanted some album but didn't want to pay the higher import price for it. I wasn't aware of it before checkout, but he relabelled it with a price sticker from another album. When we went through the checkout, the cashier got on the microphone and over the loudspeaker throughout the entire store (2 floors!) you heard a booming: "Hey, it's pick your own price day at 3rd Street Jazz and Rock!" My friend turned three shades of red. Not one of his prouder momemts, but it sure was funny at the time. We were dumb highschool kids back then, and he did buy it for the "real" price as I recall.
  4. hawkadoo -- having your e-mail address "exposed" like that will lead to a LOT of SPAM. You owe it to yourself to read this: http://ezinearticles.com/?How-To-Avo...obots&id=70969 I recommend you PM one of the moderators, Brad or Rossman to have your forum name changed!
  5. The sellers do that to avoid paying high final-value fees to eBay. No fees from eBay are assessed on shipping.
  6. For Christmas '03 I built my in-laws a computer with OfficeMax/Staples BF deals and the balance was Newegg purchases. They still love it.
  7. Right, although around here they go for the ankles & shins. Ouch!
  8. You would think, but they make an additional $2.75 from people not willing to contact them. http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileys/awcrap.gif
  9. POTENTIALLY, that could be certificates for: $1.00 off a car stereo install $1.00 off a laptop $1.00 off a desktop $1.00 off a major appliance ...you get the idea. Boy, that would be ruuuuude!
  10. PM me your zip code (or if you can get them from Blockbuster...)
  11. That's how the PDF states it. "Certificates will be mailed to you within 6-8 weeks..."
  12. I have about 100 I'm not using. Would you be interested? I also have 10 Double-DVD cases.
  13. It's a little wordy. <edit> I can see where you might be a little ! Read Mikis123's post below:
  14. I got it. I must say I didn't know about all the advertisements on the savefile.com Web site. I just found savefile.com through a Google search, I never used it...
  15. And here: http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=16352
  16. Aaron's post, plus (potentially) the people that work at companies that print the circulars.
  17. My parent's eMachines fried its RAM. Took a while to figure that out. It would boot, but then lockup. And Windows wouldn't re-install till I swapped out the RAM.
  18. Try this: http://www.savefile.com
  19. Office Depot: http://officedepot.shoplocal.com/officedepot/listing_detail.asp?listingid=-2096290829 "PNY Attaché USB 2.0 1GB Flash Drive SAVE $50 49.99 After Instant Savings & Mail-In Rebates thru Oct 29"
  20. OfficeMax does this too. I have a friend that's a manager.
  21. Staples has the Memorex 1 GB on sale this week for $59.94 (no rebates). I entered "2gb flash drive" in froogle and this seems to be the best price for a 2.2GB Flash Drive = $75 +S&H http://www.onsale.com/onsale/shop/detail.asp?dpno=588179 (I've never dealt with the company or heard of the brand)
  22. pcsoon -- Wow! For $350 - $400 rebates, I think I'd send it in Certified Mail!!! I'd rather spend the $4.00 then have the rebate company say, "We didn't receive it in time, you're outta luck."
  23. I've been doing "this" for four months now, it's been fine...
  24. Yes, you're right, I wrote that under "The Catch" (see above)...
  25. N2010 for $359.99 AR http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16824116356&ATT=LCD+TV&CMP=OTC-C173T
