Office Depot!

Does Peru use 110/120 V (like the USA)? Or do they use 220/240 V (like Europe, Asia, & Australia)? I think the members (including Brad & Ross, of course) are the reason I like this place so much. The BF ads and the online/offline deals are just fringe benefits.

Another recommendation I would make is that if the rebate is substantial, say $100+, you may want to consider sending it Certified Return Reciept. It'll cost you around $4.00 as I recall. It's not bullet-proof, but the rebate company cannot deny that they received "something" from you.

I think Ross & Brad would have to ban me if they wanted to keep me away.

Be friendly with a BB employee and ask if he/she would photocopy the UPC.

Personally, I don't have good luck with off-brand DVD+Rs or -Rs. They burn o.k., but when you go to play them a few months later.... issues (freezing, skipping, etc.). I just got 100 DVD+Rs from Staples for $24.94 (no rebates), so I'm set for a while.

Were there any last year? I still have my FAR CD-Rs from TWO & THREE years ago!

I bought a bunch of stuff there last year. Remember the 200GB WD HDs for $49.99 AR? That was an amazing buy last year. We have two OM nearby. Two years ago, we went to the one closer to our house and were in and out no problem. Last year, we went to the one closer to "the rest of the stores" and were in line for almost two hours. They had two full-service registers open, plus a "cash only" lane. The problem with the "cash only" lane was they didn't make any announcement over the loudspeaker or have a sign hanging. Well, most people pay with credit/debit cards these days and the only way knew that one was "cash only" was if you left the much longer lines to go to the seemingly shorter line. Then, if you weren't paying by cash, you got to rejoin your previous line... at the end of it. There were a lot of unhappy people at that store.

The USB hub I got FAR from OM never worked anyway. But, your right, last year I also got a 10-pack of CD-RWs, a Remote Control, Camera Card Reader, gel-filled mousepad, and a 64MB Toshiba Memory Card, all FAR (in addition to the USB hub). They will have the card readers FAR again this year at least.

Thanks Brad! Would you all believe I actually stopped into my new Office Depot and they don't know when they'll be opening. It's less than 2 weeks, don't they need to make up a work schedule?

Thanks, Brad! And now Office Depot will be the last I am really agonizing over... Hopefully, OfficeMax will open up again @ 7am like they have in years past. Our normal route is Staples @ 6 am, then McD's, then OfficeMax @ 7 am. Our newly opened Office Depot may throw a wrench in the works, however...

No, the Sam's Club I quoted is for a 2-year contract on a post-paid acct.

If there is a Sam's Club near you, you can buy the RAZR (silver or black) anytime for $99.99 for new subscribers or $129.99 for upgrades. You don't even have to be a member of Sam's! Just tell the person at the door that you are going to the phone kiosk.

First of all, you should edit your post to remove your e-mail address. The SPAM robots constantly patrol the Web looking for more victims. Unless you are using Roxio Easy Media Creator or MusicMatch, I really can't help you beyond "general information". There are sooooo many CD burning software manufacturers, and each one is going to perform a little different. When you start the CD-burning program, there should be a "Record an Audio CD" option. If not, there should be some sort of online help (across the top of the program, File; Edit; Help, etc. -- choose Help. If you're still stumped, list what CD-Burning software you are running, I'm sure that some GottaDeal member has the same program and can jump in here...
