They had some things on sale last week for 25% and 30% off. I asked about bf sales and the guy told me those items that were on sale would still be on sale for the same percentage off or possibly more. He wasn't sure if they were doing the gift card with a certain $ amount this year or not though. Last year I think you got a $20 gift card with a $100 purchase?

yeah, i highly doubt they are going to do any holds, and i'm sure they won't re-ring anything considering they are not price adjusting anything this year.

any predictions on when these tvs will be going on sale? safe to say monday or do you think they will run different ones different days next week?

they've done this the last few years at my local targets. winding in and out of tons of isles. the line didn't move too slow, but it was still a pain.

I asked at the Gamestop at my local outlets yesterday about a flyer. They guy said he wasn't even sure they were doing a special sale for BF, but they would be opening at midnight with the rest of the stores. Then he said he was waiting on an email to see if they were doing sales. I KNEW he was lying!! LOL

So, here's a little snippet from my email that I just received from Target Guest Services: "Target will not offer price adjustments for items advertised November 22 through 24." I don't know if all stores will practice it. I have a feeling from when I asked at the store, that they will be following the no price adjustment policy for bf weekend.

The ones I got (15% off and $10 off) were for card holders, but if I remember correctly, they normally have 15% off coupons around for non-card holders too. Not sure that they come in the mail though. If you 'like' kohl's on facebook, they always post those coupons that you can print and take with you.

I tend to buy things in late summer that I see good deals on, and I can remember where I hid them. lol I try to get most of my holiday shopping done before bf, at least the things that are 'must have' on my kids' lists so I'm not totally stressed out searching for them when they are sold out. BF is the day I try to finish all of my shopping other than finishing up my kids and dh. I just added up what I need to spend on people yet (minus kids and hubby) and it's only around 300, but when I add all of the bf deals for stuff for me and the house, etc. it's over 1000. lol I know I won't spend that much, but that's just adding up everything that is a good deal that I would 'like' to have

This sounds like us. We weren't spending 100+ on anyone other than our kids, but we did cut our list up and scaled back the amount we spent on everyone. We have been doing cash only for the last few years. Last year was a better year finances wise, and this year is even better. With that said, we will not be upping the gift amounts either. That extra money will be spent on the kids and some will be saved. We had to cut our kids' limits the last few years, and this year we don't have to, so they are the only ones getting a higher budget

i could use a new laptop, but i want a pair of ugg slippers and a michael kors watch. everything i want is well over our normal 'spending limit' though. lol

Yes, I did that one year and didn't need it, but then the next year they wouldn't honor it and I hadn't gotten an email because I didn't think I'd need one considering the year before. Was I sadly mistaken I hope they email me back soon!

there is only 1 thing i need at coach, and i have a feeling it won't be any better sale then it is now. do you need to have that flyer for gymboree for the extra sale or is it just a given when you are there? i know my sister got great deals there last year and we plan on going there again this year. would really like to hit up old navy this year before everything is sold out

I think last year they emailed the ad a few days before bf if you are on their email list. They just sent me coupons for tomorrow and Monday which might be as good if not better deals than bf...not sure though. I got them for being a bonus card holder, which is free to sign up for.

I have no idea, but I wouldn't plan on the online deals being the same. The other day they had coats on sale online and when I went to the store to get one, they weren't even discounted at all.

We have specific amounts set for everyone we buy for. I have already started getting some items, so I just add up what is left to spend on everyone and try to take that amount plus a few hundred extra for those extra deals that I find for myself and anything I see for my kids. We try to set an amount for them, but they are each getting the kindle fire so we are just doing some small items yet. Not sure how much more we are spending on them. I try to take mostly cash as well to stay on budget better.

I'm sure the Kohl's cash will be able to be used at a later date. they are giving kohl's cash right now and you can use it 11/13-11/21 only. If you order online they will email you your kohl's cash.
