Yep. You have to start trying to order items online Thansgiving day. This is what happened with TRU last year. They had the items up on Thanksgiving (when I ordered mine!) and by BF they were gone.

I also think it started around the 1st of Decemeber. I think you should get the e-mails as long as you are on the mailing list. :)

It didn't work because these coupons were only good 11/3 -11/5. Sorry you didn't get a chance to use them. But keep your eyes open because TRU may have another sale like this!

Just got back from Toys R Us and used this coupon :) They let me use in with the special 50% off coupons for Scamps the dog I got in an e-mail, but not with the $10 gift card. Thanks so much!

We don't eat breakfast at all on Christmas morning. My little girl is normally up by 7 (at the latest) and she goes straight for the presents. However, I do have doughnuts and coffee for the adults. We always have an early Christmas dinner around 12 or 1 (much in the same fashion of Thanksgiving dinner) and that is our only real meal of the day.

In my opinion, everything has to be down by New Years. But I normally start taking it down around the 27th.

I think you are right; however, the main reason they don't put them out sooner, in my honest opinion, is because they don't want their competors seeing what they have on sale.

The link isn't working and I remember last year that we had the same problem. The link would work for an hour or so and then it just died.... I think they may be waiting until the actual paper book comes out before they fix the link...

I don't go overboard on everyone for Christmas, just my daughter. Now I will freely admit that she is spoiled rotten.

It worked for me yesterday, but today I just keep getting an error page. UGH! As for Littlest pet shop & my little pony. I remember seeing these in the book, but can't tell you which items or how much they were. My best advice, is just keep trying to view the ad. Sorry I couldn't help more.

My daughter just turned 8 and I dread the day she asks. She has already heard on TV that the tooth fairy is not real... Thank goodness I was able to talk her out of believing that. :) I told her that I do not leave the money so someone has too! She went for it. Therefore, hopefully I will have many more Christmas holidays before she becomes wise. I think I was about 11 when I found out.

Yes, I don't send out many cards but when I do I have to use Christmas stamps and Christmas Address tags. It just makes it so much more festive!

I need a new hiding place. lol Already I have: Set of 20 cans of Play-doh Barbie & Pegasus 3D DVD Hannah Montana DVD Hannah Montana CD Two bags of assorted craft stuff (pencils, pens, coloring books, crayons, stickers, etc) These are my stocking stuffers A very big My Scene doll (It is over 2 ft) A couple of Hello Kitty items A nascar monolpoly game for my hubby Big Bratz Baby doll Pixter case and one game Disney MP3 stick jukebox And other smaller stuff that I can not remember right now.

I didn't even thing about the fact that this may be a problem. I keep forgeting that some schools are extremely politically correct. It ruins some of the fun of Christmas (excuse me) the holiday. Personally, I am going to take them in and see what happens. If you are worried I would suggest calling the school and checking. HTH

Oh my gosh... I have never tried to add it up. I would be so afraid! I only have one daughter and she is spoiled rotten. If I had to guess, I would say that I spend no less than $400 and the max is prob. $650 or so. I am a bargain shopper though and start buying Christmas presents in January so it goes a long way.

I am not obsessed with wrapping at all. I buy my paper from the dollar store starting around the first of Oct. because they normally have Disney Christmas wrap. My daughter is eight and she does not care about wrapping at all, it is all about what is inside to her. Now if I have an extra special gift, I wrap it nicer. Teacher presents, that really something expensive my husband wanted, wedding presents, etc. But overall, the dollar store meets all my wrapping needs.
