USB 2.0 Flash Drive w/ Fingerprint Security
Brad replied to BobbyDouglas's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
sounds good bobby. buy.com had such a nice price on it that i posted it today on the main site as a regular deal. hopefully they don't sell out before you can order (doubtful, unless all the other deal sites copy the deal as they've been known to do lately :) ) -
Glad we could help :)

USB 2.0 Flash Drive w/ Fingerprint Security
Brad replied to BobbyDouglas's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
PC Magazine Review - http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,1759,1604872,00.asp From that review: "The flash drive's storage is set up in two partitions, one public and one secure. When you first insert the device in your PC's USB port, only the public partition mounts. Password or fingerprint authentication is required to mount and view the resizable secure partition." So the stuff you put on the public partition would mount like a normal plug & play drive. Read the review for more info - there is Windows Explorer and IE integration as well as standard file protection. -
USB 2.0 Flash Drive w/ Fingerprint Security
Brad replied to BobbyDouglas's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
I'm guessing that for normal use it would be plug & play, but if you want to use the fingerprint recognition features, it might require special software. I'll look and see if I can find more info. -
USB 2.0 Flash Drive w/ Fingerprint Security

Hey BobbyDouglas - welcome to the forum :) Unique request. I didn't even know such things were available. After looking around, it looks to me like your best bet is this Sony USM-128C 128MB Micro Vault at Buy.com for $84.92 with free shipping. Seems to have everything you want. For price comparison, check out Pricegrabber and you'll see Buy.com is the cheapest. Amazon has it for $110. More Info From Sony -
Dany, Those links have our affiliate link in them, so they might be blocked by a program on your computer. If you can't get them to work on your home computer, then try these direct links: http://www.computers4sure.com/product.asp?productid=1857727 http://www.computers4sure.com/product.asp?productid=1817830

As for the wireless adapter, there are 2 main choices. Here is the cheapest prices I could find for each: Linksys Wireless-B Game Adapter - $52.64 shipped at Amazon Microsoft Wireless-G Xbox Adapter - $78.24 shipped at Amazon If you have a 802.11g adapter, the MS one might be worth the extra cost, otherwise I've heard great things about the Linksys one. Computers4Sure carries the Linksys model for a few bucks more (search for WGA11B), so you could add it to your existing order or place a separate order from Amazon to save a few bucks.

Dany, Here is the best I could do: This is through Computers4Sure, which is owned by OfficeDepot, so it's a legit company. First add the XBox Console for $149.99. Next add this Network Cable for $1.95 to get your order total over $150. On the screen with your shopping cart, on the right column in really tiny print you will see a link to enter a coupon code. Click that link and enter coupon code LSC994 to save $15 off a $150 order. You also get free shipping. The total should end up being $136.94 shipped. No tax for GA residents either :) Hope this helps.

Abbey Futon Frame with Mattress - $309.99 Shipped Free - Overstock.com
Brad replied to GottaDEAL's topic in Online Hot Deals
The $30 exclusive discount expired on Monday. There is a new $20 coupon available - see here: http://www.gottadeal.com/coupons-store-overstock.html -
There are a lot of products with free shipping available on the site. I was just browsing and there are TVs, MP3 players, DVD players, PDAs and more - and that's just in the electronics section. Plus plenty of dorm room "essentials". Remember the 10% coupon is only good a few more days, and a lot of the really hot deals are selling out quickly.

another day, another coupon - this time $35 off $450, so the LCD is $5 cheaper than yesterday. for those of you who don't know, dell's fiscal quarter ends this week, which is the reason they are offering all these coupons. don't wait until next week because you won't see these prices on the 2001fp anytime soon.

Abbey Futon Frame with Mattress - $309.99 Shipped Free - Overstock.com
Brad replied to GottaDEAL's topic in Online Hot Deals
As a price comparison, HomeVisions carries the same model for $280 + $45 shipping = $325 AND it doesn't even include the mattress like the Overstock deal does. Here is another site that carries it for $449 with mattress: http://www.affordable-beds.com/abbey_futon.htm So the Overstock deal is extremely hot. -
Abbey Futon Frame with Mattress - $309.99 Shipped Free - Overstock.com

From the site: "Assembly required. This item ships in three boxes." So I'd imagine you could just do one or two boxes at a time from MBE if you needed to. I think the furniture at Overstock is nice quality. When I was looking for a headboard a few months ago their prices were a little cheaper than any other place for the same items. The $30 discount, $20 coupon and free shipping make it a nice deal, and it will definitely be better quality than the cheap metal frame WalMart $99 special futons that break the first week you use them. Plus this one wouldn't look out of place in a non-dorm room or apartment setting because it looks like actual furniture instead of a bare metal frame.
