  1. I'd say go with Dell. I just configured an 8400 with the stuff you want and it came out to around $1500 before any coupons. And that was with a 160GB SATA HD and a 3.2GHz CPU.

I don't think there are any great coupons out right now, but if they can wait until next week, you should be able to get 2 of these for around $2500 shipped if you're lucky.

  2. That's an awesome deal, Brad! Which coupon did you use? :yelclap:

That was the Dellf coupon where you could get the W1700 LCD TV for $1 with any Dimension over $699. So I combined that with a special "holiday" bundle (the loaded 3000 with free speakers and printer) which was around $999 or so IIRC and included the regular 17" LCD. Then I was able to stack a 20% off Dimension Dellf coupon on top of it all which brought the final cost to around $800 with free shipping. There is a big thread somewhere on FW about it. They quickly pulled the deal a few hours after people realized it was possible.

  3. Dell Inspiron 700m laptop for $800 shipped ($500 off coupon + $200 rebate)

Dell Insprion 600m laptop for $750 shipped ($750 off coupon)

Dell Dimension 3000 (3GHz/1GB/160GB), All-in-one Printer, Dell 17" LCD AND Dell 17" LCD TV for under $800 shipped (Dellf coupon)

  4. Another reason for the bigger link is that a lot of people were coming to the site right to the forum and perhaps didn't even realize that we have an actual site in addition to the forum, so hopefully those people see the link and click it to see where it takes them :)
  5. And if people don't want them cluttering the forum, they shouldn't reply :P

Seriously, usually if it's just one thread I'll either close or delete it, but there were like 10 of them this morning so I just never got around to doing anything with them other than editing them and banning the person responsible.

  6. OK, I modified the forum source code to no longer display the PM pop-up.

Instead there is a checkbox when you go to write a new PM. By default, the checkbox is checked, so if you don't uncheck it you will be requesting a receipt, just that the popup won't appear.

  7. I play it occasionally. If you like playing poker it can be fun, and you can make a few bucks. They are completely legit as far as paying you, etc...

Also, if anyone signs up using one of the codes in the original message, just PM me with your PP username and which code you used and I'll send you $10 extra via PayPal (or a $10 Amazon GC if you don't have a PayPal account). This is in addition to any bonuses you get from PartyPoker itself.
