  1. I just tried it and it worked. What model/config are you trying to get? Remember according to the terms it can't be one of their "Outrageous Deals", etc... I went through the link above, clicked Notebooks, "start shopping notebooks" and picked a model
  2. I've never seen any coupons ever for walmart.com - free shipping or otherwise. they usually have pretty good shipping rates regardless.
  3. I think if there is no rush a good idea might be to wait for the new LCDs and DLPs with the 1920x1080 (true 1080p) resolution. There are a few (expensive) models out now - I just posted a deal a few days ago for a cheaper LCD model - but the big brands (Sharp, Toshiba, JVC, Samsung, etc...) should all be bringing out new models in the next 6 months. 1920x1080 is the resolution for the proposed HD-DVD and Blu-Ray standards that are currently fighting things out. So if you are going to spend a good amount of money for an HDTV, you might want to do whatever you can to make sure it'll last as long as you need it to.
  4. I also saw one made by RCA at CircuitCity.com for $75.99 shipped.
  5. Also, BlueDo gives you an extended warranty:
  6. In case the canned air doesn't work, here are some more options: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0001WV63W (only 1 CD though ) http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/index.html?action=c2hvd19wcm9kdWN0X292ZXJ2aWV3&product_uid=184830 (5CD - just over $100 with shipping)
  7. I found something that supposedly works on the current version of vB (although some people say it's buggy). I don't know if it will work with 3.5, but I'll try it when the time comes. Basically it shows you a list of the smilies and you check a box for your favorites, then when you make a post, there is a link to show your favorites.
  8. Nope :) I'll check to see if something like that is available.
  9. You just missed out on this deal: http://www.gottadeal.com/DirectDeal/11377 I'd check Overstock.com. I know they have a lot of reconditioned models in the $100 range, and they have the $10 off $100 coupon and $1 shipping. I'll see if I can find a new model somewhere for cheap.
  10. Within the next 3-4 weeks we will be upgrading the forum software to vBulletin 3.5. We are going to be adding a few small new features that we think you'll like, but if there is a feature/tool/etc... that you've seen on another forum that you like and think would be useful here, reply to this thread and let us know and we'll see what we can do. If there is anything here that you'd like to see changed somehow, let us know about that as well. There are many hacks/add-ons/plugins available for vB so chances are anything can be done. Also if you want to see new smilies and/or avatars, either post them here or give us suggestions and we'll try to find some if there are any popular requests.
  11. Here is a $1 item you can use for filler: Link So: $174.99 (SD-H400) + $1.00 (filler item) + $1.00 (shipping) - $17.00 (coupon) --------------------- $159.99 shipped Not too bad...
  12. Pretty much any CompactFlash card, including the one at Newegg, would work with the camera. The only thing I'd be concerned with is that with a camera that old, there may be a maximum card size that it supports. I did a quick search but couldn't find that info if it actually exists.
  13. They are looking at opening one in SE Wisconsin. http://www.bizjournals.com/milwaukee/stories/2005/06/06/editorial1.html (might require registration to view the article) "...The latest example is Ikea, the Swedish-based value-oriented home furnishings retailer. For years, southeastern Wisconsin residents have trekked south to visit Ikea's popular store in Schaumburg, Ill. So many Wisconsin residents have made the trip that Ikea's management has taken notice. The retailer has hired a Milwaukee real estate brokerage to find a site in the area for an $80 million, 215,000-square-foot store."
  14. You need an antenna (like this one) and either an HDTV with built-in HD (ATSC) tuner or a set-top HDTV tuner (around $200).
  15. But knowing Apple, any iPod Video they come out with would probably be in the $499 range, if not higher - just because they know people will pay for it. Plus the $399 for this is MSRP. I'm thinking once it comes out, you'll be able to get it for more in the $349 range after discounts/coupons.
  16. This model is Creative's preemptive strike against a future iPod Video. 3.7" VGA-resolution display.
  17. you might have some kind of ad-blocker / anti-virus sofware that is blocking clicks to "linksynergy.com", "click.linksynergy.com", "linkshare.com", etc...
  18. New 40% off coupon released: http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=11747
  19. There were 2 rebates: $15: http://ak.Buy.com/buy_assets/retail/pdfs/05Q2/0627-0703st_15buyreb.pdf and $10: http://ak.Buy.com/buy_assets/retail/pdfs/05Q2/0620-0831st_10ctg.pdf
  20. You might see the limited-config $750 off $1499 coupon before October. I checked the expired coupon archive and there was one in both May and June in addition to the few they did last month, so I wouldn't be surprised to see it back at least once per month.
  21. Should've posted yesterday. Buy.com has it for $127.99 + shipping but they had a free shipping coupon that expired last night. It probably would have worked on the case.
  22. Another reason why we are the #1 deal site. Useful and valuable comments like this.
  23. no deal here - just posting a thread to get our charity donation up to an even $180 before midnight ET :) :) :) http://www.gottadeal.com/total.gif
  24. I don't think they've ever actually got them in stock yet, so it's more like a preorder. But today is the last day for the free shipping coupon. Otherwise since it's not in stock they won't give you free shipping.
