  1. How much do they want for the Port Replicator Notebook Expansion Dock?
  2. Yep. The old 1.25GHz should go down to $449 to make up the 256MB RAM difference. The old 1.42GHz should be down at $499 because the 256MB, Bluetooth and WiFi are worth about $100.
  3. The previous versions are now on sale at Amazon. 1.25GHz is $479 shipped: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0006HU2IM 1.42GHz is $549 shipped: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0006HU2ZU
  4. Still taking suggestions... Black Friday is now less than 4 months away.
  5. Just a reminder that this one expires tomorrow at 5:59am CT. With Dell's fiscal quarter ending, it could very well be 3 months before we get another one like this that is good on pretty much any configuration. For those of you like BigNate who want an extremely loaded system, this is the coupon to use - you'll save much more than the $750 off coupons that are usually considered the hottest.
  6. Yes, I'd imagine Amazon will have these (as well as discounts/rebates on the 2 older models) sometime today or tomorrow.
  7. It uses a slot loading drive, so I have no idea how easy/what models you could replace it with. Of course you could also use a USB 2.0/FireWire external DVD burner which could also be used with any of your other PCs.
  8. Yep. The 256MB of RAM on the first versions was not good. 512MB is really all you need on a system like this. Because of the relatively slow 1.4GHz G4, any advantage of having more than 512MB is minimal. As a comparison, MacConnection sells the previous 1.42GHz version with the BT and WiFi upgrade for $673 after $40 rebate, and that doesn't even have the extra 256MB of RAM.
  9. Yes, they all still have the Radeon 9200, which works fine on my 2001FP, so I'd think it would be fine on the 2005FPW, but you might want to do a Google search to make sure nobody has any problems with it. The $599 version is very nice, I don't think it's worth the extra $100 for the SuperDrive, and that could be a possibly DIY upgrade down the road.
  10. The middle version is probably the best value now. The $499 version is basically the same as it was except it just got an extra 256MB of RAM, but the $599 version got an extra 256MB, plus WiFi and Bluetooth.
  11. The sale was so popular so they brought it back this week again :)
  12. This coupon has been extended through 7/27. Great for those who want to go all out with a $2000+ laptop - you can save more than the usual $750 max.
  13. Great for the cheaper models if you don't want to spend the $750 for the other deal. You can get a $1000 machine for $600 and there are no restrictions with the configurations.
  14. DDDVD has it for $16.14 shipped: http://www.deepdiscountdvd.com/dvd.cfm?itemID=WBD038942
  15. The MuVo should be back in stock relatively soon considering they released a coupon just for that specific item. As for the SD card, you can also substitute any flash memory in its place for around the same price.
  16. Save 2% more if you use a DPA account with coupon code 4N13PT2J68HCDX.
  17. If you're talking just the Inspiron line, then yes, the 700m would be the best choice. Just make sure you get the bigger battery for the extra battery life. I've traveled with my 700m a few times and it's been really nice. BTW, coupon is now active!
  18. CoinStar (those change-counting/exchanging machines) also has a prepaid MasterCard: http://www.coinstar.com/us/WebDocs/A1-0-3-2
  19. Do you mean like the "Forum Jump" menu that's right below this post on the bottom right?
  20. Like RossMAN said, there's a 99% chance you won't get the Samsung (I didn't even bother ordering), but this is as close to a sure deal as you can get.
  21. I'll increase it so it'll always be 1 more than RossMAN and make you an honorary Admin :) Pick me!
