Second batch of prize packs were dropped off at the post office today so if you've won one of the last two contests, your box is on the way. With half the boxes gone we haven't run out of any shirt sizes yet, but we're getting close to running out of XL and larger. Guessing we're going to get a lot of these "should we consider this their actual ad or not?" situations this year. This is a pretty long "sneak peek" as they call it which makes me believe that this is essentially their Black Friday ad and the deals show they will start 11/16 this year. So I'm treating it as their ad and if we get the actual print-style ad we'll just replace the scans if they are that different or have more deals than what is shown here.

Some updates/predictions for the bigger ads: - We will likely see the full Best Buy BF ad Wednesday night. Back when they started their first preview sale, they said the rest of their ad would come "later this month" and their current sale & BF price matching promotion ends Wednesday night. There will most likely be another early access sale for some of these newly revealed BF items Wednesday night, so be ready for that. - No inside news on the 3rd Walmart BF ad (for BF week) but my guess is that will come out during the days between the first 2 sales, so sometime around November 7th through the 10th. - As I posted in another Kohl's thread, there will be a one-day-only $15 Kohl's Cash sale on November 6th. This will likely be the day they reveal their Black Friday ad and have a one-day-only early access sale for some of the deals. It's on a Friday, which is the same day of the week as they did it last year. - Target says they will be having Black Friday deals all November long, including specially marked Black Friday deals in their weekly ads. I'd expect the first of these deals to come out in next Sunday's ad (November 1st). We should have that ad posted Friday. - Black Friday appliance deals at Home Depot and Lowe’s will likely start on November 4th and 5th respectively.

I always want to do more outside decorating but that would mean doing it very early because I get so busy with the site in November that I never have time for it until Christmas is only a week or two away and at that point it feels like a waste to do it so late. Guessing you'll initially have a lot of angry people waiting in line who have no clue that there's a reservation system getting very upset at people who just stroll right past them into the store. This is Target, not Walmart, so maybe it won't be videos-posted-all-over-social-media bad, but we'll have to see.

I'm not even taking the ads that seriously because there won't most likely won't be any single "huge" ad with everything split up over multiple sales. I mean the first 2 Walmart "BF" ads came out and I was asleep and didn't post them for like 6 hours. That would NEVER happen any other year with their real ad haha.

Agreed. I thought the point of spreading out the sales and having them start online 3 days early to was to keep people away from the stores at the same time. Now instead of everyone hitting the store on one day, they'll do it 3 days. Which, despite their claims otherwise, is probably exactly what Walmart wants.

These ads were likely finalized months ago before Apple let them know about the 12. They still could do a promotion for it but it would be a separate event most likely.

Yeah it's very disappointing how many deals in both ads are in-store only. Thought the purpose of splitting things up and doing online 3 days earlier was to get as much stuff as possible online, but I guess Walmart wants people waiting in lines.
