While this sale doesn't start until next week, the press release does state: "Additionally, select deals will be made available early on Target.com starting Oct. 5." which is tomorrow, so keep an eye on Target's site late tonight or tomorrow to see what these early deals are.

Sale link: https://www.samsclub.com/b/member-savings-event/20340210 This sale just started today. Around 100 items. I'd expect several more of these limited-time sales from Sam's throughout the rest of Q4.

Slight update: Now that we're seeing a lot of big early sales (and I don't anticipate that stopping), I renamed the "Posted Ad Discussion" subforum to "Sale & Ad Discussion". In that forum we'll have threads for most of the ads & catalogs we post on the BF site this year as well as dedicated threads for each of the bigger online sales that are announced. This includes sales like Prime Day, Target Deal Days, etc. I'll be sure to note the dates for each sale in the title of each thread to make things easier. Try to keep discussion of these sales in the appropriate threads. We'll use the threads to post any ad scans if they are available, advanced lists of deals that will be part of the sale, discussion of what deals everyone thinks are the best, coupon codes to use and you can share what you ordered if you'd like.

Big question is will there be any working %-off or free shipping coupons to use along with the Kohl's Cash and rewards point multipliers.

Time for another Mystery Shirt Prize Pack contest! To be entered, reply to this thread with a "Black Friday in 2020" themed haiku. For those unfamiliar, a haiku is a 3-line poem with the first, second and third lines having 5, 7 and 5 syllables respectively. It does not have to rhyme, but should create some kind of imagery in the reader's head, so be creative! An example Black Friday haiku would be: people skipping lines (5 syllables) crashing carts into others (7 syllables) glad i stay at home (5 syllables) Contest will be open until 11pm ET on Monday, October 5th. I will then randomly choose 5 members who entered and you'll win a Mystery Shirt Prize Pack! Limit of one prize pack per member but if you win you are still welcome to enter future contests for fun. For more info on the Mystery Shirt Prize Packs we're giving away this year, see this thread. Good luck to everyone!

Kohl's wanted us to pass this announcement along: "Beginning 9/30/2020, Kohl’s Cash will no longer be earned on $48+ transactions. Customers will need to spend $50 to earn their $10 of Kohl’s Cash. That continues into all higher tiers, instead of $98, customers will need to spend $100." -- In the past if you were within $2 of the Kohl's Cash threshold (on Kohls.com) they'd give it to you anyway but now they are going to be more strict. So you may need to start adding a cheap filler item if your total is something like $49.99. Luckily Kohl's usually has a lot of cheap under $2 items on their site.

Looks like I misinterpreted the price match policy. More info: Shop early, shop with confidence this holiday season. For Black Friday deal purchases made between November 1 – 28, 2020 you’ll qualify for a price adjustment if the Target store or Target.com price goes down any time on or before December 24, 2020. We’ll waive the 14 day requirement and adjust the price for qualifying purchases, upon request. -- So it sounds like you have to buy it while it's a "BF deal" and then if it goes cheaper before 12/24 you'll get the difference. Also, here's Target's blog about the news: https://corporate.target.com//article/2020/09/target-deal-days?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=referral

Sale Link: https://www.target.com/c/deal-days/-/N-xgolj Press release: https://corporate.target.com/press/releases/2020/09/Target-Kicks-Off-Holiday-Savings-Early-with-Larges On Oct. 13 and 14, Target Deal Days will feature digital deals on hundreds of thousands of items, more than double last year. Guests can sign up for the free, easy-to-use Target Circle loyalty program to access all the best deals, and for the first time, all deals will span the entire two-day event, giving guests more time to shop deep discounts across Electronics, Home, Essentials, Toys, Beauty and more. In addition to kicking off holiday deals earlier than ever, Target is adding nearly 1 million more deals than last year, spanning October through December. For the first time, Target will offer Black Friday deals throughout the entire month of November, with discounts in Home, Apparel & Accessories, Electronics and more. Black Friday deals will be advertised in stores and found on Target.com, making it easy for guests to know they are getting a great deal. The retailer also will offer weeklong discounts and digital deals every day, beginning Nov. 1.

Going to have a very, very, very (like single digits) small batch of 2020 BF shirts made up just for family and friends. If there are any left I'll open up some of the mystery boxes and throw them in but no promises

I wouldn't worry too much. This is how they do it every year - they are just spotlighting some early pre-Prime Day deals in this press release, most of which are their own products like the Fire TV-based TVs. It's not reflective of the actual deals to come on Prime Day. I had meetings every day last week with Amazon about PD. They have a lot in store for the sale this year (and BF). Definitely not "pretty meh"...

2 months until Thanksgiving

Is that in-store only or both stores and online?
-
Tell him to sneak out some ads for us! haha. Doesn't have to be BF - any info like this is good.

Tangentially related to BF as some/most of these will be on sale and some of Amazon's best selling items during Prime Day and Black Friday "season". Hoping Home Depot continues their online workshops for another month or longer. If you do one, you get a 15% coupon for homedepot.com and of course you can use multiple emails to sign up multiple times. The coupons have been good for a month from the date they email them to you so if you do one in October, that coupon will be good through November and could be used on their BF sales. http://www.homedepot.com/workshops

Walmart Announces Plans to Meet the Changing Needs of Customers this Holiday Shopping Season https://corporate.walmart.com/newsroom/2020/09/23/walmart-announces-plans-to-meet-the-changing-needs-of-customers-this-holiday-shopping-season

Guessing there will be a press release within a week or so with some deals listed. We typically don't get sent the early list of deals (that we can't really share anyway) until 3-7 days before the sale starts.

Were you able to get a preorder bluebear? Anyone else?
