I always want to do more outside decorating but that would mean doing it very early because I get so busy with the site in November that I never have time for it until Christmas is only a week or two away and at that point it feels like a waste to do it so late. I really should do some stuff in the next week or two before it gets crazy around here with all the sales.

Guessing you'll initially have a lot of angry people waiting in line who have no clue that there's a reservation system getting very upset at people who just stroll right past them into the store. This is Target, not Walmart, so maybe it won't be videos-posted-all-over-social-media bad, but we'll have to see.

I'm not even taking the ads that seriously because there won't most likely won't be any single "huge" ad with everything split up over multiple sales. I mean the first 2 Walmart "BF" ads came out and I was asleep and didn't post them for like 6 hours. That would NEVER happen any other year with their real ad haha.

Agreed. I thought the point of spreading out the sales and having them start online 3 days early to was to keep people away from the stores at the same time. Now instead of everyone hitting the store on one day, they'll do it 3 days. Which, despite their claims otherwise, is probably exactly what Walmart wants.

These ads were likely finalized months ago before Apple let them know about the 12. They still could do a promotion for it but it would be a separate event most likely.

Yeah it's very disappointing how many deals in both ads are in-store only. Thought the purpose of splitting things up and doing online 3 days earlier was to get as much stuff as possible online, but I guess Walmart wants people waiting in lines.

More Kohl's updates. Did some snooping around their site and found this: https://www.kohls.com/ecom/Kcash/EarnKohlsCash_20201106_20201106.html It's a one-day-only $15 Kohl's Cash offer. Usually they do this the day they reveal their BF ad (and put many of their BF ad items online for early ordering). So there's a good chance the Kohl's BF ad will be released Friday the 6th. Also found possibly the next 30% of Kohl's Charge event: https://www.kohls.com/ecom/Kcharge/30-15ChargeCardPromo3.html Which starts on the 11th, Veteran's Day, which usually also comes with a $10 off $25 coupon which combine for some great deals.

Another recent change at Kohl’s: it appears now that to use their free shipping codes (typically available during 30% coupon sales) you must be a MVC cardholder. Us regular cardholders can’t use the FS codes anymore. Of course you can always get free shipping by using the Kohl’s app inside a Kohl’s store (or if you can get your phone to make the Kohl’s app think you are inside a Kohl’s store ).

Starting the sale in-store only for 3 days seems to go against what everyone else is doing (putting stuff online the same day or earlier than in-store). When you do that you’re basically encouraging people to come to your stores. I’ve never been to B&BW during BF though so I have no idea what kind of crowds that would lead to.

They didn't do the $80 memberships last year. Really hope they bring them back. I'm down to one gift card left from when I "stocked up" a few years ago.

Some of the news articles about this announcement say that Walmart will restrict capacity to only 20% during these sales. I don't forsee that actually happening at every store for all 3 sales...
