Sale starts in less than 9 hours. If it's anything like the similar sale they had last year, I wouldn't get too excited. Usually they feature the best of the best deals in the preview, so if you aren't thrilled by the deals posted above, this may not be the sale for you. They seem to do a lot of sales like this during Q4. They'll have like 2,000 items on the sale page of which maybe 1% could be considered legit deals.

With the two sales being so close this year, I think most of their device deals will be the same for both.

Since we're talking about HD in here, more details on those 15% off online workshop coupons I mentioned previously: - Register for workshops here: https://events-na11.adobeconnect.com/content/connect/c1/2566155714/en/events/catalog.html - The only workshops giving out coupons are Homeowner 101 Indoor, Outdoor and Systems. Don't bother with the other ones. - There is a registration limit for each session so some of the earlier ones might be already full. Each account can get 3 coupons, one for each of those 3 workshops, so register for one of each. - The day before the workshop they'll email you a reminder with a link to that individual workshop. - Open up a browser window for the live workshop, just make sure you are logged in early as towards the end of the workshop they close it and won't allow anyone else in. - Each workshop runs for about an hour. At the end of the workshop 6 survey questions will pop up on screen. The last one will ask for your email to send the coupon to. - Coupons are sent 1-2 days after the workshop and are typically good for a month. 15% off, online-only, max $200 discount. I haven't run into any product exclusions. As relatively easy as they are to get, these 15% coupons actually sell for $50-70 each on ebay (so if you can't use them, sell them and make yourself some $). If you register for the late-October workshops the coupons should be good through BF/CM (if that even matters this year). And theoretically you could sign up with multiple accounts and have multiple browser windows logged into each workshop to get multiple coupons per session, but I wouldn't know anything about that...

You can use Kohl's Cash to pay for pretty much anything. The main "catch" with it is that they take the Kohl's cash off your total before applying any discount codes you might have. So to maximize the value of the Kohl's Cash, it's best to use it either during sales that don't have any coupon discounts (like the current sale) or on categories or brands that aren't eligible for coupons anyway (toys, electronics, team fan gear, many name brands such as Nike, Adidas, KitchenAid, Dyson, etc.). But you can still use it for clothes like you want. Also, if you are going to buy the Dreamhouse, also make sure you are signed up for the Kohl's Rewards program. During this sale, Kohl's charge cardholders get 3x rewards which comes out to 15%. So you'd get the regular Kohl's Cash (which as of today is down to $10 per $50 spent) plus 15% back in points which convert to even more Kohl's Cash. Seems like the optimal strategy for this sale is to focus on the many brands/categories that are not eligible for coupons anyway. The $15 KC and reward multipliers are probably the best “discount” you’ll get on those items from Kohl’s. Assuming they do it again this year, I think the best non-BF time to buy from Kohl's is when they do the Veteran's Day sale in early November. They have $10 off $25 and it's during one of their Kohl's Charge 30% off sales so you get $25 worth of stuff for $10 with free shipping if you have a Kohl's Charge (and can place as many orders as you need to). Last year they had a glitch where you could stack multiple $10 off codes which was crazy.
