At this point, I have no idea when the online sale will start. The information we got from our affiliate rep led me to believe the sales would start Thursday morning. However on ToysRUs.com they have a page showing that the doorbusters will start at 5am Friday both in-store and online. So I guess we'll keep checking and update this thread as we find out more...

ah, ok. just a few items just probably doesn't mean that the full ad is coming anytime soon. just that a few items might be at the ad prices now because the ad price isn't that great to begin with, lol. the actual BF sale is still supposed to be friday. they have a different thanksgiving day sale online tomorrow that they are running first.

which items have you seen online? the sale isn't supposed to be online for another day.

yeah newegg is getting hammered because of the sale

We had this problem on this night last year as the Best Buy (and other stores) sale items went online. Please do not constantly refresh the forum pages to see the latest replies. This is not a chat room (we have one of those if you need it). Last year there was so much refreshing that it drastically slowed down the site and we turned off the forum until it calmed down. If it happens again this year, we'll simply shut down the forum again until it stops. While there may be a lot of people on the forum, there are about 10 times that many people trying to access the main Black Friday site, so it's important that those people can view that site as well. Thank you for your cooperation :)

You will have to check. Not every item will likely be online. There is no way to know exactly which will be online ahead of time, and even if you did, items sell out very quickly, so that would be no guarantee. The times above are for online sales, not necessarily in-store.

That's what we're being told. They have a special online-only sale Thanksgiving day this year, so it pushed back the online BF stuff.
