Adding another rule since it seems to be happening a lot lately: - Do not post links to sites that host ads that we were forced to take down. Do not ask others to PM you to get an ad that we were forced to take down. Do not advertise that you have ads that were taken down in your signature. Everyone knows how to use Google - any leaked ad can likely easily be found - no need to put this site in legal jeopardy by posting these things.

I saw that Wii deal yesterday while flipping channels, but if you do the math, it really wasn't that great of a deal. The 101 games disc sells for $20, the messenger bag is about $10 and the plastic sports set can be bought for around $20, so the bundle is about $50 more than it should be plus shipping/tax if they charged that. Bundles should theoretically be cheaper than buying the things individually, but QVC has to make their $ somehow. But I can see how the 6-payment option would be appealing.

Insignia is Best Buy's own brand. You might want to do a search for the model number on www.avsforum.com and see if you can find some reviews from them.

I think for the Wii, it will still be $199. I'm guessing possibly the ad was prepared before the recent price cut so they didn't put the new price in it yet.

Each year for certain "hot" items they don't list prices in the ad because they want to be able to match what their competitors are offering it for at the time the ad starts, so they just say something like "HOT PRICE" but you have to check the web site/store once the sale starts to know what they'll sell it for.

if i was sure enough people would participate, we would have a lot more of these...

interesting considering lowes sent their lawyers after us last year for posting the ad early

just so nobody waits up, i'm 99% sure the ad won't be posted until tomorrow morning. we're only half done with the scans, then everything has to be resized, rotated, cropped, uploaded, etc... so i'm probably going to just finish it all tomorrow morning rather than pulling an all-nighter. i need to save those all-nighters for the real BF ads

update: looks like the book is around 80 pages (yes, 80...) so we're not going to be typing up the list of items like we do with BF ads since it's not technically a BF ad (and did I mention it's 80 pages? ), but we'll post the scans once we have the full ad (it could be awhile, lol)
