This is the 6th year we've had this particular sub-forum. For those of you who are unfamiliar with it, this is where we'll be posting every bit of information we receive about online Black Friday sales and deals. As always, to keep things organized and to prevent spamming, only the moderators and myself will be able to create new threads in here. Everyone can reply to the existing threads however. So once we post a thread for a sale, if you have info about starting times, or want to post a coupon you found to save everyone some money, go ahead. The more info you all share, the more useful this forum will be. If you know of a specific online Black Friday special, either PM me with the information or (preferably) use the contact form on the Black Friday site. We'll take a look at it, and if it looks good, it'll get its own thread in here. I will attempt to only post information confirmed by the retailers or our affiliate reps to avoid confusion. If we make guesses/predictions based on past years, we'll be sure to label them as such so nobody is disappointed if they don't come true. We will not have a thread for every possible sale. We'll post threads for the sales we think will generate the most discussion based on past years here on the forum. If you really think about sale deserves a sale, contact us. We'll use the forum's post icons to help indicate which sales have started. Sales that haven't started will have a red arrow. Once the sale starts, we'll change that arrow to green. Finally, this is a very popular sub-forum, but it's useless if we have to close the forum because of server load. So PLEASE do not constantly refresh threads every few seconds. This really is only an issue when the items go on sale (late Wednesday/Thursday nights), but take it easy on the server. Thanks.

We'll use this thread to try and answer any questions about online Black Friday (or Cyber Monday) shopping that you may have. Note: if your question is something like "Will this store have their BF items online?" or "What time will this store put their items online?" or "Will this particular item be offered online?", you probably won't get an answer in here. We're going to post whatever info we have in the various threads in this forum. So find the thread for your store and see what information we have. If there isn't a thread yet for your store, be patient. Once we have firm information, a thread will be created. Their Black Friday sale in general starts Monday. I doubt they do all of these Monday - they will most likely be spaced out through the entire week.

Just an update since quite a few people are asking about it. We'll launch our Online Black Friday Sale Tracker either late tonight or tomorrow. Depends on how long it takes to load all of the sale information into it. We'll also create the Online Black Friday sub-forum here on the boards and we'll post threads for all the major stores so you can begin to discuss the online BF sales all in one place.

We will never know exactly which items will be made available online until the sale actually starts online. The store's don't provide that info - they really can't because something could sell out a day before the BF sale starts. We will have a schedule with our best estimates of when the sales will start, and once they do start, for many stores we'll keep updated lists of ad items that are available online to order at the BF ad price.
