Yeah we had to make an unscheduled server move tonight which is the reason for the issues. You may run into problems for the next few hours until the DNS changes take effect for everyone, but things should be all good by morning.

Yep, that's what most of these "Free Shipping Day" offer will be - the same old promotions they've been having for weeks/months/years Shame on WM for making it look like they had free shipping on everything w/ no fine print.

We've had the "post your favorite recipe" contest in the Black Friday forum in past years - go through the archives and I'm sure you'll find a lot of great ideas that are timeless

We did things this year pretty much the same way we've been doing them aside from a few minor changes (such as the new dedicated "Posted BF Ads" forum). So I thought I'd post a thread to see if anyone has any suggestions for ways we could improve the Black Friday forums next year. Feel free to post your suggestions here or if you'd prefer, you can PM them to me and we'll consider them for next year. It could be anything from the forum organization structure, official threads, the way contests are done, forum rules, features we should add (I really wanted to bring back the chat room this year but just didn't get the time), etc...

Cyber Monday forum is now gone. The threads for the major stores (Amazon, Walmart, BB, etc...) were moved to those stores' respective forums. Other CM threads that had discussion were moved to the Dead & Expired Deals forum for any further discussion. Everything else was merged into one archived thread. The BF forums will now stay as they are for a month or so before they are all merged and archived after Christmas. Feel free to continue to discuss any BF-related topics (or Holiday-related topics in the Holiday forum). Any threads made about non-BF, non-Holiday topics will be moved to the appropriate year-round sub-forum.
