I just went to target (in store) and they had them available for the same price :)

They had a blue shelf sticker that read "Lower than Advertised"

(too bad the leapfrog coupon is only on the Leapster2)

$!%@& - *my* store had it for $34 and they don't price-match the online store.

 

And on the Web page, it's not actually available online, even though it says free shipping. It says "available in stores only." In small print it says prices may vary by store.

 

Well .. nuts! If the prices may vary, how can they ballyhoo the $29???

I went to Wal-mart and had them price match for me and they took the leapfrog coupon. I pirnted out 2 coupons and bought 2 leapsters. I only wish I had the $20.00 coupons. The ones I had were $10.00 one. Oh well, still a great deal.

 

Btw...one of the leapster boxes actually had a leapster 2 in it. The manager noticed it (and she said it was factory sealed) and still gave it to me for the leapster price. She said that leapfrog did make errors in their packaging and some of the leapster 2's ended up being shipped to them in the regular leapster box.
