arelf27
It made me smile to think of a horse being brought home in a shopping cart...:)**That reminds me, my hubby and I had a good chuckle last night when we realized ds1 has been walking all over the house with his sister's Toy Dora shopping cart loading all kinds of other Toys into it. He especially loves to carry around balls. Silly me, I didn't even realized it at first just mentioned to hubby that I thought that was cute and he told me: who do you think he's imitating? Duh!! arelf27
For those who wanted to get the FP dvd player and couldn't get it, find comfort in knowing it's not worth it. I was so excited to find one yesterday, sitting all by itself on the shelf for 75% off. (I almost fainted when I saw it). Got home and tried it, it's a piece of junk. I was fine with the small screen, but the resolution is BAD and the picture has lines running through it horizontally. I'm returning it today. All that worry and excitement for nothing!**Maybe we could start a thread in the Discussion Forum to discuss these Toys and our kids' experiences with them as well as any previous experiences?? I don't know if I want to open all these Toys and check them out as it will take forever but I'm affraid they be a total bust once we do open them and by that time it will be April/July/Dec so no way to return!! Because some people have B-days coming up now and Target return policy is 90 days!!
dramaqueen72500
I was so bummed because I had my eye on a few camping things, lantern and grill, and there were a ton on Sunday and then when I went yesterday all the aisles were moved around (the bikes and camping switched spots-which is weird b/c the aisles are right next to each other so I have no clue what the point in doing that is! ) and there was nothing left! I mean nothing but a few water bottles! Even some things that were never clearanced to 30% were just gone. I was so sad! Do you think it went from 30% to 75% and then sold out in 4 days? Most of the time my store always goes 30%, 50% and then 75%, with the exception of the toys, so I am really confused with the clearance lately. richmond282
I'm curious where you found the DVD player! Was it completely by accident and luck? That would give me a good idea where NOT to stash things... I found it on a regular toy isle behind another clearanced toy. I picked up the front toy to look and it and, lo and behold, there sat the DVD player behind it. I probably wouldn't have noticed if it wasn't behind another clearance toy. (Also my DD was playing w/ the display Didji, and I was just wandering around while she played. Might not have found it otherwise.)

1angelnhvn
What area are you in?For those of you who haven't done it already, it would help alot to put your location on your profile. If you click on your name up in the shaded box where it says 'Welcome, xxxxxxx', then when the next screen comes up click on the 'about me' tab and click on the yellow pencil looking thing and add your city and state (or how you want your location to be identified). That helps alot for those of us out shopping to not have to keep asking where they are from?........Hope that helps someone.........then it will show up and makes it easier to see who is near who when looking for deals! (if those directions are wrong-someone please correct me!)

arelf27
I'm really bummed I missed the 75% shoes sale!! I never realized Target has some decent shoes. I did buy two pairs (leather fall shoes and suade snikers for ds1 and laquer blue shoes for dd3 but that is all they had left) Can someone tell me when (aprox.) around the year they discount shoes to 75% so I make sure not to miss it next time. Also since I'm always looking for good shoes discounts (Amazon, shoes.com, etc.) I want to plan which shoes I need to buy from them as opposed to waiting for them to be discounted at Target. Thanks! sabbie
too funny im seeing all these clearance items posted all over my craigslist at regular priceI'm see that too. To be honest I am listing some things as well but at 50% off regular price and they have been selling like crazy. I figure people are always listing their used stuff at 50% off the original price so new at the same price should sell well and it has. I bought an extra of things I was getting for my son or things I was getting for gifts (like little people) or some toys that I knew would sell well at 50% and have made back quite a bit considering on some I'm only making a $8 profit. I'm lucky to have 4 Targets within 20 minutes and 2 were crazy stocked with stuff so I was able to score an extra on big items like the train tables and kitchen and they still had some left on the selves so it's not like I cleaned them out. The amazing thing is that I bought the rose petal cottage w/ the nursery, washer, and sink for around $52 total yesterday and listed it for $100 and had 8 people respond in 4 hours. The Target I got it at had probably 4 of the cottages left and tons of the extras on the selves. It's amazing, I should have bought 2 sets. Should be able to make up at least half or more of the cost on the toys that I'm keeping. My DH thinks I'm crazy, but when he sees the credit card bill he is going to be mighty happy I have a wad of cash to give him. :)
