With a windchill of -3 I am not going out unless I have too!I'm in Michigan and I went to my store at 8am and again at 10:30...NOTHING but 30% everywhere and i scanned a couple items. What part of Michigan are you in? There wasn't even anyone working in the toys everyone was in the baby/kids section:gdparanoid: I drove carpool to work today, I was hoping i wouldn't have to drive on my own tomorrow. But I shop for my schools PTA and this is when I score up on all our goods!

They were marking down in Kitchenwares though and I scored a $150 Panasonic stainless steel microwave for $37.48 :) They had a few of those. The Stouffers' Panini sandwiches were $1.48. If you havent tried these and you like Stouffers then this is a great deal.they also have the Italian cake snax 75% off. It seemed like almost every aisle had something that had a red sticker on it.

I got brave and asked a guy when they would mark the toys down more and he said they NEVER go more than 30% off. Those character bath sets are 50% now although signs still say 15%. I picked up 5 for ds2 B-day party favors. Good price at 2.50. Prob. could have waited until 75% as there's still a lot left, but I decided not to risk it. Also in party goods they've had race cars themed party stuff on clearance for a while. It is down to 50% now so I picked some big and little plates, cups and plastic table cloth things. Just have to figure out now a creative way to package those bath party goods as they obiously will not fit in those small plastic party bags.. (There's also a coupon floating someplace online for $3 off $25 (I think) papper goods but I couldn't use it as my totals were no where near that... Also I'm wondering, on certain items (like these bath sets) do they have some # that differentiates them from each other?? I mean they are all priced the same.. So when these go down to 75% can I buy some other random ones (if they don't have the ones I want) and return with 50% receipt?? Edited January 14, 2009 by arelf27

I overslept this morning and almost didn't go until I saw your post. I got there a little before 11 and scanned a couple of items...still 30. Then I was about to leave when I heard the scanner beeping in the next aisle! They had just started marking down to 75% off!!!!! There was only one other woman shopping and she told me that they scanned her items for her. So I filled up my cart and had the very nice patient woman scan my cart. The only clearance item that didn't go to 75 for me was the playskool balltivity. But they had tons of those at 50 off so I think I'll check back later. So if you already checked Target this morning, you may need to run back! This was in Mt Pleasant SC.

Got a new robe for my son for $3.32, several camis for me for $2.79 each, and lots of High School Musical wear for my daughter for about $3-4 an item. They also had men's hoodies for about $4 (which I LOVE this time of year), but I am trying to be good and not add MORE hoodies to my collection. My husband says he might be able to take a couple hours off in the morning, so he can get the kids to school, and I can be at Target when it opens WITHOUT KIDS! Now, 75% better happen tomorrow!

katiesmommy01 Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 I was actually disappointed because the 3 things i've been waiting to drop (biscuit, sleeping beauty doll w/fairies and the MLP playset) were all still 30%! lol...maybe it's better though since i would've needed another cart ;-) I still managed to find a *few* things that I *cough* "needed"...lol...my big happiness was the Poly Pocket mall :) my DD7 is going to absolutely die of happiness when she gets that (shame it won't be till x-mas!)

They were marking down a lot of the men's outer wear and sleep sets to 75%. I was able to get Hane's men's sweatshirt for $1.13 [regular sizes] & $1.48 [extended sizes]. Toys--no movement.

I remarked earlier in this thread that a few of the toys in the 30% area were already at 75% off and it was labeled on the red sticker so you just have to look carefully. I've decided to go ahead and check my Target store today JUST to be sure!
