My Targets are adamant about NOT holding merchandise for you -even if it has been paid for. You have to take it with you right then. Maybe liability issues?

Didn't see this mentioned: Nintendo DSi orig. $169.99 at 30% off for: $118.98 They were white and came with 5 free BrainAge downloads already on it. There were about 6 of them on the electronics endcap at my Target but wrapped with the security tag. That's a pretty awesome price! Any reports from bedding? I was there yesterday and most things were still 30% a few endcap stuff at 50%. I'm trying to keep my eye on some of the quilts! I know they were doing markdowns in Domestics 2 Thursdays ago and that's why they didn't mark down toys that week.

If there is something you REALLY want, I'd go ahead and buy it. That way if they mark it to 75% you can pick up another then return the old one OR if they are out, you'll be glad that you picked it up at 50%.

My email doesn't say anything about the limit one per household but does mention being one of the first 50 in line. I'm assuming it's limit one but it'd be GREAT if it was two! Here's to hoping... Anyone else gone to one of these yet?

No markdowns in ANY dept. at my Target today. They've literally been at the same markdowns for 2-3 weeks. This is getting tiring...

I'm SOOO hoping to see more markdowns in the next couple of days. Seems like half the store is on clearance but they haven't dropped prices in WEEKS. My Targets don't even HAVE a toy clearance section anymore! I've been eyeing the window unit ACs. They are at 50% now (even though the sign says 30%) but I'm wondering if a big, electronic item like that will even go to 75%. Anyone know if they have in years past?

It finally went to 50% off at 2 of my Targets and I didn't want to take a chance and wait for 75% so I went ahead and got it for $25.xx I noticed at one of the Targets it wasn't even in the clearance section nor was it marked with a red sticker. You guys might want to check it out! I also got a bunch of the soft toy storage things shaped like a rocket! Only $2.48 from $9.99. I plan on putting a few side by side on my son's wall for storage.

Seems like some Targets may be running things a little differently. My Target that was so slllloooowww to markdown a few months ago at the last Toy clearance went from 30% off to 75% off within 3 days!! I totally got caught by surprise but I was happy to snag some things I had my eye on -like the DJ Lance hat for $4.xx !!!

So are everyone's kids still enjoying toys from the winter clearance sale? We just busted out one of the parachutes yesterday and my kiddies loved it! I am, however, finding some of the items to be a bit disappointing. I'm wondering if that's why they were clearanced. I've noticed that some of the things I've purchased now have Newer/updated versions of the same product. Maybe it's the improved version? The Black and Decker scissors have been a disappointment. In the instructions, it says that it will easily cut through those heavy plastic toy containers (like the wrap that it came in) but it doesn't even come close! The thing keeps getting stuck in the plastic! I've tried multiple times with different kinds of plastic and they just stick and stop moving. It's AWESOME though on cardboard. We recycle a lot and it's been a life-saver in terms of breaking apart boxes. My recycling container is so much neater and more compact now! Also, the Megablocks Castle has been a huge thumbs down. The pieces literally pop off and don't fit each other tightly (like Legos). My son and I were literally shouting with frustration trying to put the castle together. The pieces aren't exactly linear so you have to kind of force them together, once you do that, and start building pieces altogether, something will randomly POP breaking the entire thing! They still sell something like it so I wonder if that's why it was clearanced. Liked they updated it or something...

What happened in everyone's Home sections today? Any new markdowns? I went to two different Targets hoping they'd be doing new markdowns but at both they were putting out new merchandise. I asked the SA and she said they won't markdown on a particular schedule, and that the markdown team hadn't come into this section yet etc. etc. I even asked *really* nicely if they'd scan a quilt I had to see if it'd be marked down. She wouldn't do it and told me that "Even if I scan this, I'd still have to scan the rest of the 2,500 items that will be marked down today." I mean, does that make any sense?! Just tell me you won't do it. LOL Funny thing is, I found another markdown guy in a totally different section (foods) and he was SO NICE and scanned it for me saying, "No problem!" I've been stalking the Shabby Chic quilts that are still at 50% off. Did anyone else's Home section make new markdowns today?

At one of my Targets, they were marking down the remaining clearance toys an additional 50% off of their 75% price. They only had one endcap left of toys though. The SpeedRacer Funkeys Starter Pack is now $2.xx (originally $17.99). They also had a few sporting goods at 90% off. I noticed a Coleman (I think) water bottle sports sack. This knapsack that can hold water bottles for $2.xx originally $20-something. There were no bookshelves to be found at 3 Targets I went to. I could barely even find ANY clearance furniture. Even the HDE merchandise was almost cleared out! If anyone in the Tidewater area needs a PINK fisher price dvd player at 75% off -let me know. I put one on layaway at one of the Targets in VA.Beach and never went back to claim it. I'm wondering if it's still even there! Let me know and I'll tell you where to look for it...lol

But wasn't the poster wanting to specifically discuss the toys that were in the clearance sale? Doesn't that fall within the parameters of the thread topic? There's been lots of discussions in this thread about the Dirt Devil Kruz, Brum and Fisher Price DVD player as well. All clearance items.

One of my Targets did the same thing with me with the train table at 75% off. She actually told me, "We would never sell it that cheap." I don't know why they bother arguing and being rude about it. Just scan the darn thing! The Kruz got pretty good reviews from what I could find online. Why didn't you like it? I haven't put mine together yet.

This is even when you have the dcpi number and it's correct? I bought one of the wagons and gave them the dcpi directly from my receipt that shows that it's the correct item. I'm wondering if an employee didn't just stash one in the back. The wagon has ALWAYS been in the same place for WEEKS going from 30% then 50%. The one I got was in a different section (that I knew about).

Under what circumstance would a Target SAY they have something (by looking up the dcpi via phone) then when you get there it NOT be there? I'm not talking about if it gets sold before I get there... I knew my Target had 2 wagons on clearance. When I went on Thursday I could only find 1 and I know where they were. I looked all around! I called a different Target just this morning with the DCPI and she did a store search and said that same Target "may have one in stock." I was just there and thought I bought the only one and couldn't find the second. It's a pretty big box (doesn't even fit in the shopping cart) so I'm sure that it didn't get misplaced somewhere. Anyone know?
