triplej2002
What is the most extreme or coolest thing you've ever done to show your child(ren) that Santa really exists or that Santa had visited your home? I remember when my brother and I were kids our parents had snuck out of our grandparents Christmas gathering while we opened presents and went back home. They went ahead and put out the presents and although we live in South Carolina and hardly EVER get snow that was about the one and only time we had gotten a light dusting of snow on Christmas Eve. My dad used something to make "sleigh tracks" in the snow. My mom and I were talking about this the other day and she said the looks on our face were priceless when we saw that. What have you done or what did your parents do to make it look like Santa had came? Maybe your stories can give me some ideas!

ashemgra
my ex father in law went out and got some deer poop...brought it in the house and put it on the floor next to the table where the carrots had been left for the reindeer! My ex-MIL was some ticked off at having real deer poo in the house! The kids were amazed though!!!!
dmmiller
The only thing I've really done and it was just last year.. Was had a neighbor deliver all our "santa" gifts to our house while we were out of town for the holidays. So when we came home from visiting relatives, they had all those gifts, including bikes under the tree waiting on them. It really amazed them and made it concrete that I couldnt drive 4+ hours each way and put those gifts under the tree and still be back in Ohio xmas morning when they woke up. siczlo
At my dh's restaurant, thay had the same Santa and Mrs. Claus every year for Breakfast with Santa. They were fantastic! One year my mom hired them to come to the house for all the grandkids. Santa knew my kids by name because he saw him every year. All of their Santa pics have the same exact Santa. My ds12 believed in Santa until he was 9. He thought his Dad knew the 'real Santa'.

Scanner420
Warning.... This is kinda long. Two days ago.....my DS was acting up, like most four year olds do this time of year, but this was over the top. I told him that if he kept it up, that Santa was bringing him coal for his stocking this year. He laughed me off and kept his crap up, by 9:30. I had enough and texted my wife to play along with me. I called DW @ work and played it like I was talking with Santa. (I knew he was watching from the step) I told him about my DS and asked if he could do something to change his behavior and said good-bye. I put my DS to bed, for close to the 50th time of the night, and he asked who I was on the phone with and I told him Santa. He asked me if tonight was Christmas Eve and I told him no, tonight's the night Santa makes his rounds and warns little kids that he's actually watching them. He tried to laugh, but I kept a straight look on my face the whole time and he believed me. (you should see me bluff @ poker) Anyway...he finally went to bed and I went downstairs and got a lump of coal I got as a gag gift last year and plopped in inside his stocking. He wasn't happy when he woke up and found it there, but he's been listening since.
amyers12345
There is one boy in DS9's class that gives them all grief about no Santa. All of the other kids except this brat either believe or say they do. For the last 2 years, DS has asked us to set up a video camera to tape Santa, but we couldn't figure out how to rig it up. this year, I got DH a Game Cam. It's a motion activated camera. Our WAGS has Santa suits for 14.99, so we were thinking about picking one up, setting up the camera, and 'catching' him.
