katiesmommy01 Posted November 29, 2008 Share Posted November 29, 2008 So I was waiting for 1 1/2hrs in the electronics line at TRU (to get the $9.99 ds games)...and I finally get to the front, right before you get into the electronics section when 2 people walk up to the security guy in front of me guarding the entrance and ask if they can just go in to "browse"...alright, first of all, if you are just looking around on BF I want to smack you for that alone...get your stuff, get in, get out, get on your way to the next store! When they were told that they would have to wait in the line to look in the electronics section the man responded "well, are there any games on sale today?" The guy behind me in line was like WTF...I was like "no, it's just BLACK FRIDAY, did you just wake up today and think to yourselves lets go shopping?" nick_jenni_jocelyn Posted November 29, 2008 Share Posted November 29, 2008 my MIL and i waited in line for almost an hour at Justice. there were a couple of ladies in front of us. when they get up to the counter, they decide that they want to look at the shoes behind the counter. now, if you have ever been into a justice, you can easily access the shoes, you dont need a sales person to help you. in fact, my MIL looked at the shoes while we waited in line. these 2 ladies decided to look at the shoes for 20 minutes. I told the lady behind them(we were behind them and 1 other lady) that they waited in line as long as we did and they couldnt have looked at them then, like my MIL? then at WM, there was a little girl with her mom and the little girl started throwing up. i was behind them and there was about 5 more people between us. when the girl started throwing up, her mom held open the little girls coat and had her throwing up in there, then her dad came and got her. well, when the girl threw up, the 3 people behind her immediately went to the other line. then the lady in front of me, who didnt see the little girl throw up, said "the line just got shorter by 3 people!" I told her it was because of the little girl getting sick. she then says "oh no, i cant deal with that smell" and immediately left. so i moved up 4 spots in line. the smell dont bother me, i got 3 kids, lol. There was a line, but nothing real, real long. 10 min. before the store opens the guy behind me ask "so, what is everyone out so early for?", no one answered. A few minutes later Kmart opened theirs doors and as we were walking in the guy says, "wow, are there a lot of things on sale?; I came to get soda." Well, that is cool if you need 2 L. of soda, but that is what you get out of bed early in the morning of Tgiving for, wait in line, and fight a crowd???? More power to you then. ohitsunshine Posted November 29, 2008 Share Posted November 29, 2008 Well I got to listen to some lady talk about everything going on in her family, including someone in jail, someone who cant keep a job or her legs crossed, about her working 12 hour days and putting a 50in flat screen on her bfs card without asking. Then another woman talking about how no one else knows how to raise kids and you shouldnt put your kids in the Toys R Us diapers, its gross and yadayadayada... You literally made me LOL!!! :) I can just picture this guy being sent out by his wife or something to get soda. He shows up at Kmart and finds a line! ajdana726 Posted November 30, 2008 Share Posted November 30, 2008 At toysrus about 15 mins before the store opened they came out with tickets for the bigger items and the guy in front of me says to the sales associate, "I'm going to give you list and cc and you can shop for me because he had to go to work. The look on the womens face was priceless. She told him we can't shop for you, and said sure you can. After about 2 mins of this she walked away. after she walked away and said that he was going to report her..I was laughing so hard i had tears in my eyes. theboyzmom Posted December 1, 2008 Share Posted December 1, 2008 after waiting for 1.5 hours in line at TRU, we finally get to the register and the lady in front of us decides to try to convince the cashier that the manager told her this $60 item was really $20 and she demanded to get that price...it went on and one for over 10 minutes before I asked the line wrangler if we could switch lines...as we were leaving the store, this lady was screaming at the manager...
