dubbfoolio Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 that 42" polaroid HDTV catches my eye. With LCDs generic is okay sometimes. The picture is pretty blurry. Anybody got a model number?
dmmiller Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 Walmart wins with the cheapest 19" lcd tv! :)
amykay9377 Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 I LURVE WM!!!! Hubby works there, so I always rag on him that I can't get the ad from him, but that i have to get my fix from GD! (Plus, since he works there, we get 10% discount, too!) I see some things I will be standing in line for! Thanks Brad for feeding my addiction!! Can't wait to get the actual scans.
dubbfoolio Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 that 42" polaroid HDTV catches my eye. With LCDs generic is okay sometimes. The picture is pretty blurry. Anybody got a model number?I'm going to take a wild guess: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=7081021&sourceid=01960047960195910193 800:1 Dynamic contrast ratio isn't great, but otherwise I'm interested. Now I just have to figure out how much camping this thing equals.
Brad Posted November 21, 2008 Author Posted November 21, 2008 I'll also update the blurry individual item pics on the site as soon as WM sends over the clean copy of the ad. Should be shortly...
Brad Posted November 21, 2008 Author Posted November 21, 2008 Walmart is not so bad afterall eh?I think in this case it was more the fact that the ad was getting leaked and posted everywhere, so they didn't want to punish the sites that were playing by the rules and not posting it.
andybrooke Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 This is the best black friday ad! That could be a good thing or a bad thing... now ill have to knock down everyone in my way to get the deals!
emilygracesmom Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 Thanks Brad for all you do. I'm officially an addict!!!
sweetdiggity Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 Well, I'm glad Wally World came to their senses. LOL Thank you, Brad!! It's been hard not being able to discuss this ad in the past few days.
jrudy01 Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 Just curious brad, did they come to you and let you know you could post it...I wonder if they felt pressure from looking negative in some of the news articles compared to other stores..... either way...thanks
jrudy01 Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 well maybe it will set precendent for next year and it won't be such a hot issue...again thanks
leah_steven Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 Been waiting on a clean scan. Mine sucks!!! They have so much I want, yet so much I don't want Will def. make them a stop again this year!!! I actually was looking for the tru ad and stumbled upon the wm one. It was about to drive me crazy not being able to talk about it, so I emailed it to all my family, which got a kick out of it b/c they call me the queen of wm, since I'm there all the time!!!
iluvwalmart Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 Man did Walmart come thru this year. Holy crap! There is so much I want, I don't know how I am gonna be able to get it all. On the downside of this, there is gonna be even more people at the store & that is gonna make it even harder to get the stuff. Right now I am rounding up people to come along to help getting stuff. LMAO
hannahs_momma Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 Wow i think this has turned into a stroking Brad's Ego thread but either way I am liking a few of the items they have going on lets see what tomarrow brings!
iluvwalmart Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 Dear lord I remember the year that the special Cabbage Patch Newborns were 10.00. Now I see there having the 25th Anniversary ones for $10.00!!!!!!!! OMG it is gonna be like when they first released them back in the 80s. The way the crowds were. I am not so sure I even wanna attempt to try & get one.

iluvwalmart Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 I think we all should have some form of protecitve gear on this year. LOL I agree it is gonna be crazier then it's ever been. I will be there tho. LMAO
friholic Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 Best deals so far! Thanks a million for the list, Brad. I was starting to wonder with all the talk "of the best deals of the year", when they were going to start showing up. They have now. Thanks again.
CrossFireXT17 Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 I'm trying to decide if that Samsung L200 is worth it. I myself have a Powershot A540 which has 6.0MP compared to that that has a 10.2... anyone have any words of advise?
kimmers71 Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 Interesting...Best Buy, Sears and WalMart all have the 40" and 46" Samsung TVs. Only Walmart is $1 cheaper.
