ukdebc Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 I have some thank you network points that will expier shortly, so I thought that I would "buy" gift cards for me to use as a payment method on BF. Any issues anyone foresees with using GC's - they should accepted just as normal - correct? then next question (this is the crystal ball one) - I am looking to get Ipod Nanos as gifts (not necessarily on BF) - who do you think will have the best price? Best buy JR Amazon thanks
Brad Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 gift cards should be accepted with no problems on BF. as for the ipod nano, since it just came out you won't see any big price drops. amazon would be your best bet as they normally have them for $10-20 cheaper than the list price, plus free shipping and no sales tax for most. on BF, stores can't advertise ipods for less than list price, so they make up for it by including accessories, itunes gift cards, etc... to make the deal better, but i still think amazon is the best option if you don't have to pay tax.

Tara3117 Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 The only other thing I would add to the Nano discussion is that most of the stores have the same prices, but they offer different bundles that might be more attractive to you. There might be a gift card for that store, or iTunes, or maybe earbuds or armbands or something. If you can't catch a break on the regular iPod price, those little extras might be worth it. (Though if you DON'T want any of that extra stuff, Brad's right, try Amazon!)

I feel like i am wasting points if I go lower..i love it though!! AND I never include my gift card amounts (that I got for free) when telling my hubby how much I spent!! zim05 Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 I'm using up my points for BF this year as well. So far I recieved a $50 and $10 for Target and a $25 for Best Buy. Last year I wanted to use my points and a week before BF I ordered them but they ended up coming the day after BF, so make sure to order them early!
