Does anyone else use them? I wonder if Brad could get some made with the GottaDeal logo at a reasonable price and if GD members would be interested in purchasing them to use for their shopping.... Any thoughts? (I also like ballcaps and know that lots of us wear those). I would rather advertise Gottadeal than Walmart when I shop(or even carry junk back and forth to work)

I would absolutely use them. I paid $6.00 each for some really good ones at the grocery store and I have some that I purchased at trader joes for $.99. I like the cloth ones the best, but the plastic trader joe ones are great, because if they get lost or forgotten, I don't feel so bad. We use them for all the snow gear the kids have to take to school, groceries, my husband's lunch, and anything else you can think of! :)

I keep mine in my car - usually using them for groceries... don't know if I'd want to carry them into the stores with me... too much else going on that day, to bring my own bag, but we've used them in the car to hide stuff from the kids.

I won't be ordering any of those this year. I already will be busy enough giving away (and packaging/shipping) the BF t-shirts that are given away. Bags would just be too much hassle during an already busy time for myself and the site.

However I do have quite a few of the GD nylon drawstring backpacks left over though (and will be giving many of those away as well along with the BF shirts), so that's an option. They may not be as big as the larger shopping bags, but they can hold smaller things.

Heck if I'd known about the drawstring backpacks I'd have gotten them for the boys to use for school, not supposed to have "bulky" backpacks...

I HAVE to have one of those bags! Not just for the great BF, but whenever I am out and about. I am well known for buying stuff on "Cheap" sale and CLEARANCE!

I'm curious how does one get on the list for a shirt/bag? I think I have been a good deal posting girl. :D

Brad could I please be on that list to get a backpack too. I have told everyone I know around here about GottaDeal, but carrying a backpack would spread the word to the people I don't know.:D

There is no "list" to get a backpack or shirt right now. There was a thread in Discuss GottaDeal for months where the backpacks were being offered for $5/each and nobody wanted any - guess you all are used to the freebies :P

Once the shirts are here in about 2 weeks I'll start giving them an the backpacks away in many different ways. As this is a deal site, those who have been posting deals will definitely be taken care of :D

I use my bags all the time, on every shopping trip. Target has an awesome zipper bag that folds up and fits in your purse - its the size of a wallet; they also have another huge bag that folds down and snaps! The reusable bags hold so much more & I used to get irritated when stores would double bag the plastic grocery bag or just put one or two items in them.

I have one of the zipper bags, keep it in the bottom of my work tote in case I need to stop somewhere...

My sister and I (we live together) use 'green' bags for groceries and even everyday shopping. There are a heck of a lot more durable than plastic bags which just end up floating around in the ocean and clogging up the environment.

For BF this year I think I'm going to buy those 'green' bags that fold small and use them. They will work perfectly for snagging DVDs/CDs and other smaller things when the doors open. That way I don't have to try and look for a basket (which is so bulky and hard to move around) and I don't have to worry about dropping stuff!

We use them to "wrap" presents at x-mas time. I have all red and green ones. hehe

I always forget to bring my one "green" bag with me to the grocery store. I don't want to buy any more until I can actually remember to but it back in my car.

I'm thinking of bringing my big LL Bean beach bag to BF this year. Last year we brought trash bags, but they broke before we made it out of the first store. If there are a lot of little things, I think the canvas bag would be great. That would free up our hands for the big stuff.

I have a huge one that I bought as Macys a few years ago. I have used it for the last few years on Black Friday. We can fit alot of stuff in it and usually get away without a cart. It is about the size of the Kohls bags and last year when I was checking out their someone tried to take it to use for their own shopping

I have tons since I am a Aldi shopper I have to remember mine, not sure about using them on BF though, I would think that it would be a hassle, plus what about the stores thinking you are trying to shoplift????

I use about 10 green bags, mine are mostly cloth, I use them everywhere. It takes longer to bag and I usually do the bagging myself, but I hate throwing away plastic bags and I was collecting a mountain of them! In Seattle they are going to start charging for plastic bags.

What a great idea!! I think I'm going to take my blue IKEA bags on BF. They're HUGE and have both carry handles and over the shoulder ones so they should be perfect. :)

I have some of the cloth bags from Kroger, Publix & Wal-mart. But, if anyone remembers that the big department stores used to give you large shopping bags (strong paper) with the good handles instead of the cheaper plastic bags. Well, between my mother and I we still have at least 2 dozen of those bags and we use them every year. I fold them up into one bag and use them to carry lots of stuff. I also use them again on Christmas eve for all our wrapped presents that have to be transported to my brothers house for the family get together. They are so useful and have gotten lots of use and still hold up. I wish they could make more of those and give them out. Unfortunately, now days all they give you is those cheap plastic bags that also can be seen through so if someone is with you that you have bought something for it is kinda hard to hide!
