neboo Posted October 12, 2008 Posted October 12, 2008 I think 6 years, which is pretty good since I am only 22.
singledad Posted October 12, 2008 Posted October 12, 2008 This will be year #8 for me, and I'm only 24 years old. I go with my mom, while my dad watches the kids.
Mattfam Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 Our family has been doing the BF thing for about 10 years now.

ashemgra Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 I'm on season #12 here and can't wait for it again this year...I will hate when my girls are gone and grown and I have no reason to shop on BF...then I'll look forward to the grands and hopefully shopping with my daughters!
sherndon Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 This will be year 16 for me. It sure has changed!
chilimak Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 Well, dh and I have always gone out shopping on BF ever since we were married, so about 16 yrs. But, we went out later in the day. The first time we got up early and did doorbusters was about 8 yrs ago when we were visiting friends in a Chicago suburb. We had a lot of fun and have been getting up early ever since.
littlezar Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 25 years Last year I had my 20th high school reunion that evening and my family couldn't believe I was going out shopping at 3:30AM ~ DUH!! It's Black Friday!!! Like I'd ever miss it! LOL!!!
Thumper501 Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 This is my third year in a row. I did once a few years back and thought it wasn't worth it. Tried it again and decided that there are too many good deals to pass up!! :)
KittySkyfish Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 This year will be 20 years! I had one year where I visited my SIL in a small town that had little shopping and while I was happy to visit with the family...I was sooo depressed to not be out in the thick of things. To me, Black Friday is like the first day of deer season to die-hard hunters!
ajburlingame Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 Somewhere between 15 - 20 years. I can't remember the exact year.
mcwalker Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 This will be my 3rd year, each time in a different city.
mcwalker Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 It would be nice to add a POLL to this thread to see how the responses stack up. [i can't do it, only the thread starter or a moderator can add a poll.]
cincygurl Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 Over 20 years...and I'm only 31. :) My Mom and Aunt would take us to Lazarus (now Macy's) every year to get the freebies. My cousins, brother, and I continue the tradition. My Mom stays home now, and my aunt works retail so they don't join us. They said we are "too hard-core" for them.
oneredhonda Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 This will be my 16th year!! We started when we got married and for years and years the only way we could afford to get every one a nice present at Christmas was Black Friday.
