  1. The ones around me aren't closing however there''s one an hour and a half away which i might swing by to see what kind of closeout deals they have but i don''t know if i should go wednesday or wait a little while, when do you think you would be able to get the best stuff at the best prices? I didn't even know they're in the process of going out of business until i just read this.... wow, now i feel dumb...lol
  2. I have a really good one... Go to a BF DEPARTMENT STORE (Walmart, Kmart,BB, no CVS) and convince a MANAGER to hold a printout of the thread while you take a picture... the first to post it wins
  3. here's another question, if you make multiple purchases rather than one bulk purchase, would that mean increased shipping, or do they not combine it at all?
  4. Ok thanks for the info, i never had any idea.
  5. Does anyone else find it weird that in the ad, some of the prices are the final prices, after rebates and instant savings. However some of the items say the price before instant savings or rebates or such. What does this mean? (For example the 42" plasma panasonic 'says 999 before 300 instant savings, yet the dvd/vcr player a few items below it says 49 after mail in rebates and instant savings.) Why would they do ea'ch item differently?
  6. im goin in now to talk about the sears ad with anyone whod like to join
  7. if it's rechargable, wouldn't that mean it's cordless?
  8. i didnt actually see the answer before i posted it, i did watch the video lol o well
  9. hmmm.... hopefully this means the ads are gonna start rolling in!!!
  10. I will definitely be shopping for mostly myself, however I will be picking up alot of Christmas gifts too.
  11. Ok, thanks for the info, i''ll probably just stick to my original plans of camping out... lol
  12. I was just curious, I know they start usually at midnight TG day, but how do you get the items for sure? When you add them to your cart can you go shop for another online doorbuster or do you have to quickly pay for that item and then go try to find another one just to be sure you get it? I'm a little confused if they count the quantity currently in people's carts as quantity already accounted and don't try to sell it again. Thanks, David
  13. Congrats both of you, can't wait for the next contest
  14. I agree, things are slow this year... But hopefully we get some ads here in the next few days.
  15. I don't think it's wrong because if you want to stand in line for 12+ hours, then go for it, but personally I wouldn't do it. The only way was if someone approached me and ASKED to buy one (only if I didn't want it that bad....yeah right), I wouldn't go advertising it though.
  16. Well my job has a flexible schedule, so as long as I request it off in advance, it will be one of my 2 "weekend" days, so at least i don't have to use vacation time.
  17. Well, we go over to my Grandma's house about 40 miles away, and spread the ads out and decide where we want to go on BF. Sidenote (nothing to do with BF): A tradition we do on TG after dinner is our family gets together and we have a little euchre tournament.
  18. Well the kmart I was at didn't have a large line (I was first at 3am) but people who got there an hour or two before they opened even got the 32" HDTV last year for 499, which was what most of the people came for. So, I would say if there's something you want in their ad, you probably have a good shot at it.
  19. I usually don't like to go shopping on TG (like to save energy for BF), but last year was my first time as I needed to get a Wii, so I waited in line a Kmart from like 3am-7am TG day so I could get the wii, and then had to do it all over again the next day... Not something I will do again unless I have to!
  20. Definitely Best Buy...... Then probably CC (1 block away), then Target.
