New Site Usability Question

As I continue working on GottaDeal v3, I have a usability question for everyone that uses the site:

 

Assume every deal posted on the main site had a small logo for the retailer that deal was from. Where would you assume/prefer that clicking on that retailer logo graphic takes you to?

I would like it to take me to the deal, or GottaDeals page with that dealer's coupons and deals.

That's a very good question and I'm anxious to see the responses.

 

My top choices are:

• the actual deal on the retailer's site (same location as the product image)

  the retailer's home page

• a page on GottaDeal containing the retailer's coupons and latest deals

keep in mind that each deal will still have both the product image and the main title which will be linked to the actual deal on the retailer's site, just like they do now.

I see. I that case, I change my vote. :) my preferences in order are:

 

1. Link to GottaDeal page for the dealer

2. Link to retailer's main site

I think that a Text Link in the post should take you to the main deal.

 

The "logo" should take you to all the current GottaDeal Deals for that vendor.
