inogenius Posted March 24, 2005 Posted March 24, 2005 I need some new clothes for the new season. Does anyone have any coupon codes for the www.ae.com website? They have an instant $10 off deal, but it never hurts to look for more.
RossMAN Posted March 24, 2005 Posted March 24, 2005 I've seen some AE coupon codes floating around, 20% off IIRC. Next time I run across a coupon code I'll let you know.
inogenius Posted March 24, 2005 Author Posted March 24, 2005 Good deal. I haven't seen anything remotely decent other than their clearance deals since Christmas, and I need some new polo's and shorts.
inogenius Posted March 24, 2005 Author Posted March 24, 2005 How does AE's clothing compare to Old Navy? The shirts are about even, I think the coloring and fabric is a little higher quality than Old Navy's though. The jeans are of much higher quality though. I have a couple pairs of jeans from Old Navy and the back pockets seem to rip pretty easily (From my fat wallet of course :)) and they seem to fade really easily as well.
i-bystander Posted March 24, 2005 Posted March 24, 2005 I've never really shopped at AE - how are their prices? Old Navy? Gap? Banana Rep?
inogenius Posted March 24, 2005 Author Posted March 24, 2005 I've never really shopped at AE - how are their prices? Old Navy? Gap? Banana Rep?Normal pricing is a little less than gap. Clearance prices are really nice though -- jeans are like $20 and shirts you can get for like $10.
mrn8 Posted March 24, 2005 Posted March 24, 2005 78977086 - Free shipping over $50 91533252 - 15% off (doesn't work for clearance items, I tried)

RossMAN Posted March 24, 2005 Posted March 24, 2005 Whoo! Good deal, you're the man.Agreed great job!
inogenius Posted March 25, 2005 Author Posted March 25, 2005 I like AF's hoodies (my winter attire) and some of their shirts too. Their jeans I don't really like since most of them use that destroyed/dirtied look. I like that a little bit, but they take that to a whole new exteme, especially when they're charging $80 for a pair of jeans. I prefer to buy all my jeans from Hollister and then American Eagle. Hollister is AF's discount line, but they seem to share similiar clothing lines.
hpowers Posted March 26, 2005 Posted March 26, 2005 Spend $75.00 and they automatically put a $10 gift card for a future purchase in your cart. Doesn't get any better than that!
ravana Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 I posted a dealfinder request for air tickets and then I saw this thread hoping it was some deals for american airline's american eagle commuter air service...alas...this is a clothing thread

Thomas714 Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 Do you still have another 15% coupon code? The one you gave out just expired today ='(
mrn8 Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 Sorry, man, I can't help you yet. I usually get a flyer in the mail sometime during the first or second week of the month. If that one just expired, they will probably release another one in a week or two. I'll post the coupon codes when I find them.
aplefka Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 Factory-2-U is where I get my clothes from. Cheap as hell and good quality.
Aaron Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 Factory-2-U is where I get my clothes from. Cheap as hell and good quality.Do they have a website? I might have to check them out.
motoXmom Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 I've never heard of Factory-2-U ? Yes if they have a website please post!
nineofus Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 http://www.factory2-u.com/ Here's the link. I've never found anything in the store that suited me (I've only been a couple of times), but my daughter found a couple of skirts there once. I got the impression they're kind of like a Big Lots and never have the same things twice. I prefer to shop at Ross, TJ Maxx & Marshall's where I can still get brand names for cheaper prices.
RossMAN Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 Factory-2-U is where I get my clothes from. Cheap as hell and good quality. They are very cheap but the clothing quality also sucks, at least it does in our area.
