Staples printable coupon $25 off $50

I found this printable coupon and used it to buy tax software. Spent $44.99 on Turbo Tax, 29.99 on Quicken. There's a 29.99 mail in rebate for Quicken when purchasing Turbo Tax. So after that rebate and the $25 off, it cost us just over $23 with the tax. Not bad at all.

I'm concerned about this coupon. It worked for me but my son went to use it in another state and they said it had been used and they would not honor it. What does that mean? I don't get it. I found it on a bona fide site with bunches of other deals. How do we determine if an online printable coupon is good?

It says non transferable so there might be a unique code on the coupon so it can only be used once.

I've got one with a different code that I found online, so that may be the case. I am going to try it and see what happens.

I used the coupon on their Acer 20" monitor that was advertised so the price with tax out the door was $136! Thats a great price for a 20" LCD monitor!

I used it from the link. The store accepted it but the manager did do an override to get it to work.

It's a huge YMMV; but if you have the $30 off $150 online or over the phone, you'll be able to use it in store, I did it. If you don't have any click the "request a catalog" link in the bottom left of staples' home page.

I tried this coupon yesterday and the store manager said it is a fake email coupon. They said that they received emails about this and to refuse them. It was pretty embarrassing when she said it was fake (out loud) and everyone in line just looked at us like we were scammers. Won't try that again!

You'll need to have a catalog mailed to you. It should come with the one that says "Fast and free delivery" in big bold letters. It's on the inside of the cover page.

I used it last night but just barely. I bought a wireless router and optical mouse and it came to $31 after coupon. The coupon came up already used and apparently they had had 1 other coupon come to the store yesterday. When they matched the numbers on the coupons (thank goodness) they didn't match up so the manager called some Staples master 800 number and after they left her on hold for about 10 min she gave up and overrode the coupon for me. They were pretty nice about it.

DH used the coupon for two cases of paper, which were on sale 2 for $60. Manager had to override, but we buy a lot of office supplies there, so they did it no problems.
