  1. You'll need to have a catalog mailed to you. It should come with the one that says "Fast and free delivery" in big bold letters. It's on the inside of the cover page.
  2. It's a huge YMMV; but if you have the $30 off $150 online or over the phone, you'll be able to use it in store, I did it. If you don't have any click the "request a catalog" link in the bottom left of staples' home page.
  3. You'll need to pull up the MP3 player's storage system in Windows Explorer / Finder (Typically E: ) and drag songs from itunes into whatever folder contains the music, at least that was the case with a MP3 player I got for free.
  4. I was going to say Macmall, but their deals are just okay unless you want a ram stick. It really depends what you type of product you want: refurbished, or new; I bought a Macbook last November and it was the best purchase I made, however my Refurbished Mac Mini from a few years back is also a great buy you just don't get the nice packaging Macmall has a few refurbished models here: http://www.macmall.com/macmall/search/search.asp?search=refurbished&adcampaign=external,mwb10341&wt.mc_id=mwb10341&source=mwb10341 Of course you'll want to make sure that you're getting the Core 2 Duo version of the Mac (otherwise you'll be getting an outdated processor with 32 bit capabilities as opposed to 64 bit - which is just how fast the computer can write data temporarily to the RAM - I'd get at least 2gb of it. The laptops can only handle 4GB. Your better off ,money-wise, installing the RAM yourself, it's the slot under the battery, it will save you a lot of money if you get memory yourself.) If Memory and operating system versions don't matter to you I'd keep my eye on this amazon.com repackaged iMac: http://www.warehousedeals.com/Apple-iMac-Desktop-with-20-Display/M/B000EPNES6.htm It's out of stock now, but when it's back the product should sell for $600-800, Amazon will most likely put more up when another shipment of computers come in and a box is ripped or damaged slightly. ---Also--- For used macs you can try http://www.macofalltrades.com/ For other refurbished and new macs try: http://www.overstock.com/ Here is a 10% off coupon code, enter during checkout under the payment options box - just click the have promo code and enter: 85721
  5. I was visiting a friend at the time, but I did get some shopping done. I had no trouble finding what I wanted in Target, although they sold out of xbox 360s, the deals were great, but the cashier charged us twice for two items (I got the extra charges removed, but we'll see on the Credit Card statement).
  6. This is a really cool site, it's like woot, but they'll do a deal for a certain period of time (or until it sells out) for a highly discounted price. They also do mystery boxes for $0.99, and you won't be disappointed if you buy them, they usually come with a few great items, like a usb flash drive, sd card... anything pretty much. About ThingFling http://www.thingfling.com/aboutus/show.rails Homepage: http://www.thingfling.com/home/index.rails Upcoming Flings: http://www.thingfling.com/home/index.rails#tabUpcoming (note for moderators: the tiny url link for Upcoming Flings goes to the upcoming flings module, the 'goto.php' script removes the #tabUpcoming. In short: It's not a referral link)
  7. If your going to use ebay, get an auction sniper, It will bid a few seconds before the item ends, so you'll probably win it if you set your max bid in the app high enough. The sniper also helps avoid driving the cost of something up, by avoiding a bid war. I just got a TiVo for $21.50 on ebay
  8. I remember I went to the Target a few minutes from me to get a phone, the regular price was $70, but they forgot to change the sign from a sale the day before. But the cashier still gave it to me for the $50 markdown price.
  9. Is the powerpc cpu the one the 360 uses? I remember those PPC macs used to get really hot quickly. I call my xbox a space heater, because the room it's in is always like 5 Degrees Fahrenheit warmer than the others. Here's a fun pun: This is really a 'hot deal' :)
  10. I've got a dollar tree a few blocks from my house, they always have the best deals on things. Sometimes I'd find Duracell batteries for $1 which is a big discount, although they were a few months from the date. Sometimes they would have some cool things like small cookware.
