Ryan'sMommy Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 Is this worth it? Cheaper anywhere else? Thanks
jdglmg Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 If you have an Aldi (grocery store) in your area, they have these for 14.99 while supplies last. They came in on November 25, but last time I was there, they still had some.

LOL!
Shortness Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 that sounds pretty cool! i know my daughter loves that sort of thing. unfortunately, i have gotten enough for her already! LOL! That's where I am... All my kids would think this was cool, as the moon has special meaning to them--but I'm at the end of my budget for them.
Ryan'sMommy Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 I cant decide my son is 6... Any one who has it?
merryann38 Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 We bought this for our son last year (when he was 6) and he LOVES it! He uses it as a nightlight. It looks rather realistic (especially when the room is dark) and is great for kids interested in the solar system. It comes with a remote control, so you can either turn it on to continuous cycle, set it to light sensor, or use the remote. On the downside: it does eat through the batteries. I suggest paying for rechargeable ones. It really is a nice gift. I paid $29 and don't regret it (though would have preferred a lower price). One of my better "toy" purchases.
Fishboysmom Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 Ds12 has it in his room. He really likes it. You hang it on the wall and it has a remote that you can control the settings with. You can keep it as a full moon or have it cycle through the phases. It comes with a cd but we have never used it so I can't comment on that. It is also on a timer so they can leave it on while falling asleep and it will shut off automatically after a certain amount of time.
jennwoodman Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 I just purchased this - thanks for the post. My Son is 8 and learning about the moon in school - He had a project to do on the moon this week, so this is perfect. Plus he likes to sleep with a nightlight still. I only paid 19.08 using the FNF07 code you noted in the post....even a better deal...YA HOO $23.97 Promotion Code: FNF07 Subtotal: $23.97 Order Discount: -$4.79 Shipping: $0.00 Sales Tax: $0.0 Total: $19.18
Ryan'sMommy Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 I want to get this but wonder if it will go down anymore... any ideas?
