kc4braves Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 Did anyone else notice that the Target add that is out no longer has the 10" portable DVD player? I was hoping to get that. It seems to have been replaced by a 6.2 inch portable DVD player. Bummer.
jmckito Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 Dont worry its in the stores, just not online.
kc4braves Posted November 22, 2007 Author Posted November 22, 2007 I wasn't even looking online. Got the paper today and discovered it doesn't match the scan or the flier online.
alimfp Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 It may not be said enough, but you can't 100% depend on the ads posted here. Some may be regional, so items in the ads on here may or may not be in the ads that come out around you. Of course, Target could change the ad at the last minute, but that'd cost them thousands of dollars - so it's most likely that they have various ads around the country.
w1df10wr Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 Are you sure your ad isn't missing a page? I have had that happen before. My ad is exactly the same. The 10 inch Audiovox for $84 is on page 2.
floridasun5 Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 Our ad in central FL is different too. The $84 DVD player has been replaced with the 6.2" $54 player Its in the same spot as the $84 one in the scan so I know its just been replaced. I had thought something wasnt right anyway when the regular price of the Audiovox in store is $179.99 and the ad has it listed as a regular price of $149.99. Good thing I didnt buy it early to get a price adjustment!
afflictedmuse Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 I feel the same way, when I got the paper ad in the newspaper I pouted a bit. I live in the panhandle of Florida. But our local Target didn't even have a 10" Audiovox before.
JeffPerk Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 The ad for the York, PA market showed the 10" Audiovox for $84. The East York store had plenty & saw them restocking at 10 am Friday. Must have been a regional thing.
kc4braves Posted November 25, 2007 Author Posted November 25, 2007 We ended up getting the 7 inch at Kohls but I will return if I find a good deal on a larger screen. I wanted to be able to watch it when camping but the 7 inch is just too small for me. The kids won't mind, though. I guess the Target add must have been regional.
