deelite Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 Thanks Brad. I know where I am going to be on Wednesday night and Thursday, forget the turkey, I have to shop:yup:Turkey....what turkey???? Lol...my urge to shop overrides my need to eat!
Josher5513 Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 Wait... So I can do in-store pickup at 4am, an hour before they're opening? Or is that a typo?
Brad Posted November 16, 2007 Author Posted November 16, 2007 Wait... So I can do in-store pickup at 4am, an hour before they're opening? Or is that a typo?I copied and pasted this directly from the e-mail I received from our Sears affiliate rep, so if it's a typo, it's not my typo :)
Josher5513 Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 I copied and pasted this directly from the e-mail I received from our Sears affiliate rep, so if it's a typo, it's not my typo :)Awesome, thanks Brad!! I'll have to call my local Sears to verify. I don't want to get there and be stuck in the cold
unclemonkey Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 Does this mean that we will see great pricing like friends and family night???:)
jdrd90 Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 Does this mean that we will see great pricing like friends and family night???:)Do I sense sarcasm?
mesarobins Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 Doorbusters online PLUS $10 off a $50 purchase?!! That is sweet!! Sears is stepping up to the plate, I always thought they were kind of stodgy and not very innovative but my opinion is starting to change.
happysunshine28 Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 Is there a way to verify what time zone?
Brad Posted November 16, 2007 Author Posted November 16, 2007 Is there a way to verify what time zone? When they have sent us things in the past with specific times, the time zone has always been Centeral (they are apparently based in IL) so that is what I'm guessing for these as well.
JanetThomas1 Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 Central time zone works for me! I am in Hawaii so I can shop online all night and still make it to the stores! :) I have to work this year though so that stinks! Oh, well, I will definitely make the best of it!
chorton21 Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 Does this mean that anything in their Black friday ad that says from 5am-12noon only, can be purchased online from 5am-12noon?
Brad Posted November 16, 2007 Author Posted November 16, 2007 Does this mean that anything in their Black friday ad that says from 5am-12noon only, can be purchased online from 5am-12noon?That's what it would appear will be the case, although it also says Doorbuster items available Saturday, so unless they have new doorbusters Saturday, they might put the Friday doorbusters still available back at the DB prices Saturday morning as well.
chorton21 Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 ty for your quick reply :) this is very exciting --- may not have to drive 2 hrs to Sears to get hubby's tools
trpleee Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 The last friends and family sale they did I got stuff marked off starting at Eastern time online. If someone has something they have to get I would check at eastern time to be safe That was last week when everyone said the server was having issues at central-startup time but I had already purchased video games with the friends and family discount at eastern time.
Jennifer0530 Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 THURSDAY 11/22: Buy Online by 6pm, Pickup In-store as early as 4am Friday (Sears Exclusive! One of our differentiators!) Will this get you the BF prices? Example: If I order clothing will I get it at the BF prices?
angiemartin Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 Doorbusters online PLUS $10 off a $50 purchase?!! That is sweet!! Sears is stepping up to the plate, I always thought they were kind of stodgy and not very innovative but my opinion is starting to change. This is great. But I believe that they used to give a $10 gift card to the 1st 100 or so through the doors as well. At least they are moving into the future with us! Wait... So I can do in-store pickup at 4am, an hour before they're opening? Or is that a typo?I wonder if this doesn't go together with what Brad said about central time? Maybe they meant that we can pickup at 4amCentral in the Eastern Time Zone stores???
elena_398 Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 Hmm, I may consider the one tv now. I was going to skip going to sears, but I may just surprise my husband yet. Thanks for the post
RacerGirl1313 Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 This completely changed our plans. I looked at the Sears ad again and I think the plan now is for one of us to line up and the other be in the car on the computer, whoever gets the item first will call the other. Thanks Brad!
j-bo Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 Just so that I am understanding. Doorbusters are available online. I'm assuming if they are in my cart on Tuesday, when I go to checkout the price will change to the BF Doorbuster price? Or..... are we playing who has got the fastest fingers game to see who can order before they are sold out? Ahh.. I just relooked at the ad. Nothing too interesting anyway. Good deal though for those that have found items they want!
Tigger97498 Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 Oh that may be a sneaky way for me to get moms Christmas present since I do BF shopping with her. Does anyone know if when they ship somthing like a tv they had a big label that says whats in the box like some stores do? If they do that might ruin the surprise.
HHCs*Mom Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 This completely changed our plans. I looked at the Sears ad again and I think the plan now is for one of us to line up and the other be in the car on the computer, whoever gets the item first will call the other. Thanks Brad!I am totally LOL! You are one serious shopper!
Machiblue Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 I wonder how that merchandise pick will work at 5 am (I do think its a typo) Most of the time, all sears.com orders are completed at 10 or 11 am, depending on what time the store opens. I would still rather shop inside the store, just to be sure that I'll be able to get what I want.
jlouie Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 I guess this weekend, I will call up the Sears where my parents live and see if they have the clothes I want to get in stock and then go to Sears this Sunday near where I live and take a look at the clothes and then Thanksgiving Day, I will assume the my parent's sears have the items, and do intosre pick up!!!
fallcolours Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 I am sorry if this has already been asked, but what is the difference between a door buster and the early bird item? If there is one. Thanks!
Tigger97498 Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 I am sorry if this has already been asked, but what is the difference between a door buster and the early bird item? If there is one. Thanks!Im pretty sure they are the same thing. On a related topic does anyone know if Sears.com does gift wrap like some sites?
RacerGirl1313 Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 I am totally LOL! You are one serious shopper! You betcha! It's a sport! Also we really want this TV.
