Does Target ever give out rainchecks on items???

Anybody ever have an past experience with getting a raincheck on BF?

 

Nothing really big I want, just a couple of DVDs. It doesn't specify.

I have gotten rain checks in the past...usually they will (if you can find someone) but I don't know about DVD's. Mine have been for things in the home dept or electronics (not entertainment)

I've gotten a raincheck in the past also, but it was for a very hard to find toy. I never got to use it though, because either they never got it in or it was sold out as soon as they put it on the floor.

I too have received rainchecks at target on BF. The other thing I would advise at Target is to ask if you can't find something. Ours is constantly bringing out more stock of items in the ad on BF (especially in Electronics and DVDs).

I just redeemed 2 this past week on games that were on sale a few weeks ago for $4.99. One had a ticket next to it (and was easy to obtain) and the other I had to find an associate to get the info. There are alot of seasonal cashiers now that are pretty green and the one I got didn't even realize Target had rc's to start with. I got a manager to print it out. DVD's shouldn't be any different

You can get rainchecks for any item in the current weeks circular that doesn't state no rain checks or seasonal items. Just make sure you get the correct dcpi for the items you want.

In their 2 day special ad unless it says "special purchase" you can get a raincheck. If it's for a DVD - no problem.

I too have received them- and it was on the DVD's. Last 2 yrs in a row. In my case, both times, it had the raincheck dispenser set up right there. So, I'm thinking maybe they never even got the item.

got a raincheck last year.I bought a Casio exslim dig camera for $ 129. Got there on BF, an asst. manager on that dept.gave me a rain check also for the shark vacuum for $ 9.(reg. $ 19). Was able to get hold of the camera 3 weeks later due to out of stock situationsA lot of rain checks were distributed i guess on that day.But was able to get hold of it eventually. A bit of advice, call any target store to check days later if its available already.I had to call 3 target stores for weeks.They usually have new shipments twice a week. bravo target! not sure on dvds,Im guessing that they should as well.

Last BF I did get some rain-checks, however, the items did not arrive back into the store until after the RC had expired.

I have gotten rainchecks from them several times. Target is the best store I know of with giving away rainchecks.

I did notice in the ad for tomorrow that one or two items actually said no rainchecks. They were toys. So maybe you can see in the scans if it says that on the item or not.

Last year we got a raincheck on the Shark Stick Vacuum that was 10.00. I love our Target they seem to try to make the customers happy....

Then I'd call corporate and complain. Because they should and they do.

I work for Target and we have a great new tool to use this year. Each store can print out a list of every item in the 2 day ad and whether we can raincheck it or not. This will eliminate all of the confusion for our Team Members. Also, stores are being encouraged this year to offer substitutions as well as rainchecks. For example, if we sell out of a 2 slot toaster that is on ad for 50% off, we'll sell you the 3 slot one for 50% instead or give you a raincheck for the original one if you don't want the substitution. Don't hesitate to ask your store for a substitution if they run out of the item you want.
