Kalel Posted November 12, 2007 Posted November 12, 2007 Hi! This is my first time BF married! Last years, no matter how much line jumpers, cold weather and hours without sleep i always got early birds. Obviously, i was single and this year my wife will be at line no matter what! I love you... Previous years Best Buy and Circuit City were my choice, since laptop and LCD TV are my main focus. This year i also want to change my last year Olevia 32" and Compaq laptop, but my wife wants Target! So this will be my first BB... I have read a lot of threads about no doorbusters at Target, so i need your help for some questions. How diiffcult will be to get a LCD 37"? When the doors open everybody will be crazy? Is a safe place for a wife? Thanks in advance... See u !!
oldandintheway Posted November 12, 2007 Posted November 12, 2007 "How difficult will it be to get a LCD 37"?" I couldn't say. I've never tried to buy a TV at Target on BF, but Target normally gets in more items than some of the other stores do. "Will everyone be crazy?" Here, everyone is always crazy on BF, Target's really no different. Some people will always run, shove, etc to get the deals, but I've never seen fighting, riots, or anyone getting really hurt at Target. I have seen all of this happen at other stores. "Is it a safe place for my wife?" As safe as any other place. LOL. I wouldn't really worry about it if I were her. I'm female, and I've done BF by myself many times and haven't ever gotten hurt.
Marcster Posted November 12, 2007 Posted November 12, 2007 She might want to wear shoes that protect her ankles (and you too) -- I've been banged a few times by other shoppers not paying attention.
coldmorning Posted November 12, 2007 Posted November 12, 2007 I've went BF shopping many times by myself (wife and mother of 2). I've always parked near lights in the parking lot, etc. just normal precautions. Inside the stores I've never had a problem alone. She should be just fine. :)
Sacramentum Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 She should be just fine. I go with my mom and dad, my hubbie stays home lol. He thinks I'm crazy.. But you're wife should be just fine. I've never seen a fight in Target over anything like I have in Walmart.
Kalel Posted November 13, 2007 Author Posted November 13, 2007 Thanks you! See you on Target next BF!
elena_398 Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 Honestly the only store I've had problems with is Target. Thats with line jumpers that is. FOr some reason they always stay in their cards and when they open doors, they rush the door. Im sure she will be fine, but watch those line jumpers and move quickly to the electrical department. NO walking on BF! LOL
dd50 Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 I worked in Target a few years ago on BF, if you are going for a TV you need to be there about 5 because that is when they start lining up. They do stock quite a bit of the sale items because it is a two day sale, but really good deals go fast.

groovygirl927 Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 Also if the shelf is empty ask an employee if there are any in the back. At my Target the employees would call for items if still in stock. I got everything I wanted just had to wait for some items to come from the back. I didn't get there when it opened. I didn't get any electronics but I did get a sewing maching.
