beccas302 Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 We got our first snowfall last week, but still have a ton of leaves on the ground that need raking! At least it's not suppose to snow for halloween here, I'm not sure the kiddo's costume would fit over his snowsuit

dmmiller Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 It just started feeling like fall here.. One season at a time please. :) Keep the snow for at least another month or so.
mgmckny Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 Snow huh! And we're just trying to get the highs below 80 still....I'd love to need to wear long sleeves before Thanksgiving this year!
dealluvr Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 when i was a kid back in 65 it snowed on halloween it was really cool
Gporter34 Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 I am really jealous! I love snow, we just don't get enough down here. We usually don't get our's until January or February. It would really be nice to have some for Christmas.
Turtle Mommy Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 I grew up with snow for 21 yrs. I have lived in the south for 13 yrs and I can say I don't miss it. I wish it woud snow Christmas morning and then by the afternoon be back in the 70's or 80's.
conj Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 It was snowing here about 2 hours later than the OP... I kept getting hit by things flying through the air, and actually said "what the heck?" OMG, it was snow... so I called DH (I was in the driveway, he was in the house) to tell him. he heard 'my ring' on his phone, and was closer to the car than the phone so he came out. He was STANDING OUTSIDE and when I told him he had to look up to verify! so, it wasn;t snowing too hard... :)
satidwell Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 I wish we got more snow here! It has just started getting cool but only at night here still blue jeans and tshirt weather here so if you want too you can send it this way my kids would love it they have new winter jackets they are wanting to wear
elena_398 Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 I hate snow. Pretty yes, but hate it when snow/ice come into play.
pmdemey Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 They are calling for (a little) snow this weekend. Good thing I got all my plants cut back.
tiredmom214 Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 I am really jealous! I love snow, we just don't get enough down here. We usually don't get our's until January or February. It would really be nice to have some for Christmas.Me too!!!! We have had snow on our anniversary twice, but I don't ever remeber seeing snow on or near Christmas. All we get is ice around here.
leefamily23 Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 You got snow???? Wow-- I'm in Buffalo-- so not too far in the big scheme of things- and we've gotten no snow yet. Last year was a green, green, green Christmas- and I am hoping that it snow's for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Other than that the snow can stay away.
HBKitmitto Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 I'm so jealous!!! Living in the desert, we don't get snow and I really miss it!
jarerice Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 I wish it snowed here in South Alabama, but it hardly never does. Congrats on the snow and if you get tired of it, please send some my way!
pastasalad Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 I so love a good snowday! cant wait for the kiddos to use the sno-ballers
mrn8 Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 Congrats! Knowing your area, I'd say your still in for a lot more before spring. I love snow, too. I try to get out skiing at least 2-3 times per month, but it doesn't always happen that way. It's 66 degrees here, right now, so I'm guessing no snow today.
pogiporkchop Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 We're supposed to see our first snow flurries next week :)
smangham Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 Awwwwww! I'm jealous. I KNOW I'm in the minority, but I just love a good snow. Send some south, would you?
leefamily23 Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 Defintely not going to be snowing here today. It's already sunny and it's supposed to be a relatively warm Halloween evening. My son's 14 and since he's been born we've had quite a few Halloween's w/ snow. So, I'll take a mild one.
