Okay, I couldn't find this on gottadeal.com so I thought I would start a list. ( If it is on here, let me know where and delete this post.) Below is a list of sites that offer one (or two) product a day at a supposedly great deal. The most famous, Woot.com is also the most popular but there are several others out there so here's a list (in no particular order and a listing doesn't mean I have bought from them):

http://www.dealSquared.com

http://www.bfiz.com

http://www.chickchock.com

http://www.bluebroom.com

http://www.bitsdujour.com

http://www.1saleaday.com/

http://www.ejectit.com/

http://www.deadlydeal.com/

http://www.locobuy.com/

http://www.dailysaleitem.com

http://www.mydailysteal.com/

http://maczot.com/

http://www.stootsi.com

Some times there are some great deals and other times its not such a bargain. If you know of any others, feel free to post 'em here.

Firefox users:

  • Create a new Folder in your Bookmarks called "Deal-A-Day sites" or similar.
  • Add all of these sites as a Bookmarks within that folder.
  • Once a day, just right-click on that folder within your Bookmarks and choose "Open in Tabs". Firefox will automatically open *ALL* of those sites for your perusal (should be much faster than opening them one-by-one).

If you want to make it even more fancy, you can use the FireFox extension "Morning Coffee". That will open the sites on the days you specify, for instance, you may only want to open the "Deal of the Week" sites on Mondays... http://www.shaneliesegang.com/projects/coffee.php

This is a great idea.

If you have time, can you please give a technically challenged person more detailed instructions on how to do this.

I can't seem to figure out how to do this.:bonk:

Which part do you get stuck on?

How to make a new folder? -- Go to Bookmarks-->Organize Bookmarks. Click on the New Folder icon on the top. On the pop-up window, give the new folder a name (such as Deal-A-Day sites). Close the pop-up window.

To make a Bookmark: go to the Web site you want to add. Go to Bookmarks-->Bookmark This Page. On that pop-up window, use the drop-down window to select your newly-created folder as the destination.
