For those of you who have signed up for the Gevalia coffee program, how hard is it to cancel once you've gotten your free gift? DH is going to need a new coffee maker and the current promotion has their 12 cup programmable SS coffee pot for only 14.95. Seems like a steal but then wondering are they going to hassle me when I want to cancel? For anyone who has gotten the 12 cup programmable SS coffee pot, how do you like it? DH's birthday is coming up at the end of May and thought this might make a good gift.

We also found it very easy to cancel. As soon as we got our coffee maker, we cancelled and there was no problem at all. A year or two later, my husband damaged the carafe by trying to clean it in boiling water, and we contacted them and they sent us a replacement for free! Even though we never bought any extra coffee from them and we cancelled our club membership asap. In my experience, they are a great company to work with!

Once I received my coffee maker and coffee I called the next day and they cancelled it over the phone. They didn't try to sell me anything. It will make an excellent Christmas gift.

ditto everything everyone else said. i signed up but got one month of coffee and then cancelled - no problem. I didn't cancel immediately b/c there were a couple more flavors I wanted to try. Love my coffee pot - it's the one with two travel mugs.

I think I must be odd LOL I signed up for my husband and he LOVED their coffees so much that we kept it for a year--at the one shipment every 10 weeks plan LOL

Well I went ahead and ordered one and had it sent to my moms house. I think it will make a great bday present for him. Hopefully it gets here in time! Need it by the end of May. Thanks everyone!

I also have kept ordering the Gevalia coffee. Every few orders they send me another freebie-the best was when I got my choice and picked the thermos. Every 12 weeks here though, and the special winter blend is excellent!

:rolleyes: I just called to cancel (after 2 shipments) and got a friendly "upgrade" to remain a customer. I am recieving 2 free mugs with my next shipment to keep me as a customer. I'll probably cancel after that.

You can also put it up for yearlong vacation. After that, they'll send you a "welcome back" gift. DH and I have snagged several coffeepots, mugs, and free coffee that way.

Yeah, I signed up and cancelled once before but this time I decided to stay on for awhile. We get the hazelnut and french vanilla every six weeks. Yum.

Thanks all! I just placed my order and got some new stainless items to go with it! I did the deal a long time ago for my white appliances, but anxious to get the new stuff!
