  1. If you have an Archivers nearby, sign up for their mailing list. You get 5 free sheets of cardstock every couple of months in their newsletter, plus they send additional coupons on the email list. I don't buy anything there without a coupon - too pricey - but some of their clearance sales are *very* good.
  2. I wonder if they're actually trying to say maximum number of certificates per party is 2 instead of the usual 1? You might want to just call and ask. Couldn't hurt! Edit: It seems really weird. I do know I've seen some strange ones. The restaurants write their own restrictions, so it would be best to ask them directly about it. Esp. since the place seems really expensive otherwise!
  3. Hmm. I don't think I saw an ad from them this week. They might not have anything going since the Firefly sale ended Wednesday.
  4. Have you been able to find the Pravda vodka anywhere? I'm beginning to believe no where in Illinois has it. And I do think sometimes my mailman keeps my samples - and sometimes he throws me some for other people. So its probably that if they fall out of your mail bundle, oh well. I've gotten a lot of the cereal ones, sample bars, etc. I tend to not get the makeup and candle ones, like, ever.
  5. That doesn't look too hard to make - its some painting and writing. If you feel you can't make it yourself, I'd log onto etsy http://etsy.com) or craftster (http://craftster.org) and post a want ad for a crafter to do it for you. I would be certain that they could do it for less.
  6. I remember seeing that in my Dominick's ad too that started yesterday. Planned to go tonight and get some! EDIT: We did! We ended up buying 12-12 packs and 2 bags of tostitos, plus 2 12 pks of water and some cheese that was one sale. In the end, we got 6 free 12 packs, 2 12 pks of water and $2 off the cheese, as well as the $25 gift card and a coupon for 10 cents off per gallon. So we spent $35 and got $30 back. Not bad!
  7. Target's had some cute ones on clearance. I'd try there. Lane Bryant and the Avenue have been running great clearances lately too.
  8. I have some new ones! EHX $30 off of a $100 purchase FXF Free 1GB Mp3 Player with $75 purchase XPU Free Beach Bag Cooler with $100 purchase All expire 6/30/07, and the merchandise ones, of course, when they run out!
  9. ooh...I'll have to ask my grandparents if they know about this. thanks!
  10. I don't think they do coupons. Have you tried another retailer for the items?
  11. Seriously? That's great though. Doing all of your holiday shopping at once does save you money - you're not out looking at so much stuff wishing you had it. And the wallflowers are normally nearly $25 at my local store, so I think its worth it to buy a bunch for $5 (though overboard for me is $40 on my tight budget!)
  12. You can also put it up for yearlong vacation. After that, they'll send you a "welcome back" gift. DH and I have snagged several coffeepots, mugs, and free coffee that way.
  13. Avenue puts coupons in my coupon clipper mag every month (they come free in the mail) for 40% off. I signed up for Lane Bryant's mailing list and get a $15 off of a $15 every three to six months. A lot of the time I'll get $15 off of $50 and I'll go and get a ton of stuff. Salvation Army is great too because they get a ton of brand new Target clothes in, and price them less than $6 each. I just got two new denim jackets for $5.50 there. Otherwise, I make a lot of my own knock-offs of high fashion. If you're into that, I'd urge you to hit up craftster.org, because there's a ton of gals there that make their own clothes.
  14. Oh, I use it too! I generate a few hundred minutes a year, and then use points.com to turn them into travel rewards points (the days inn program, I think that's what its called) and use them for hotel stays (way more useful than long distance when you have a cell phone!) Its great - most of the time I just fill in my junk email address and get 6-10 minutes. EDIT: I forgot to add when I was in Canada, the site was great b/c I could use the 200 minutes or so to call my parents for free from the hotel since it was a 1800 number. Fantastic!
  15. Woo hoo! about $150 for $40. Can't beat that! 1 Wallflower Starter kit and refill 1 body lotion 2 shower gels 2 home fragrance sprays 1 daily refresher (mens) 1 lip shine
