nerak5
They are a bit pricey but BORN makes wonderful sandals. They are usually sold in stores like Nordstrom, J.Jill, on line at LLBean. They run between $70-$100.00. I bought a few pairs last summer and a pair last week in Marshall's. They have quite a few styles in right now and they are either $39.00 or $49.00. There are a few Marshall's near by and they all have something a little different. I am on my feet alot and that is all I wore last summer (they also make comfy clogs). Good luck, if your feet hurt it's a bad day!
bayhaysay
I have 2 pr of Nike Celsos. They feel like you're walking on clouds and when you need to wash them just throw them in the washing machine. http://www.famousfootwear.com/productimages/ff_ia30752.jpg

Marcster
I http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileypad/Love/hb1.gif my Keen Sandals! At $99/pair or so, they aren't the cheapest, but I have extremely flat feet and these are comfortable all day all Summer. (And they hide my ugly toes, too). http://www.wise4living.com/fsandal/images/keen-sandals.jpg http://www.keenfootwear.com Here are some reviews of various Keen styles:http://www.backpackgeartest.org/mfr_reviews/Keen Keen does make some odd looking flip flops too: http://mirror.altrec.com/images/shop/photos/KEE/22316_m.jpg
vbamother
Oh man I sympathize with the heel spur...I have them on both feet since September and they hurt so much. I've pretty much given up on my flip-flops other than just for a few minutes to run to the mailbox, and have invested in a pair of Timberland sandals with a very cushioned small wedge heel. davephillyj
if you go with the crocs, there is a code for $10.00 off 1 or 20 off 2 on the online hot deals. But I CAN NOT ACCESS IT AGAIN THIS AM. So I can not give it to you. But it is at shoebuy.com.

jarerice
I found this link for you http://walking.about.com/cs/heelpain/tp/heel.htm They say:Birkenstock Arizona SandalsOur Guide to Ancient History vigorously recommends Birkenstocks for recovering from heel spur or plantar fasciitis. This is one of the original Birkie styles with an orthotic-like footbed of cork and latex to comfort your feet. Unisex in many colors and materials, in narrow and regular widths. There are other things on that page likeWonder Spur Silicone Heel CupsThe silicone heel cup cradles the heel, with a second softer-density silicone below the heel. I hope that helps. I also found this:But the most important aspect of heel pain or any painful condition of the foot is wearing good shoe gear. Good shoe gear usually consists of a sturdy, solid shoe. Heel pain is not relieved by a soft, ill supported shoe. Shoes such as Nike, K-Swiss, and Avia are the best shoes for this condition.

kren
Hey, on the Keens -- my hubby is REAL hard on shoes and we live in a very rocky, forested area with a rocky creek. He walks the dog every day on a long hike. I bought him a pair of Keens in the summer of 2005 from LL Bean and at the beginning of the summer of 2006, the stitching on an upper strap was coming apart. This maybe would've affected the sandal in, like, five years, when it finally got to a pressure point, but at any rate, I called LL Bean, told them the problem, and they sent me a return label and replaced them immediately. Since these are $99 shoes, I would HIGHLY recommend getting them from a place like LL Bean. They have the most awesome "satisfaction guaranteed" promise in the biz. Kayakmom
My boss bought us all these sandals at EMS when the local store was closing. Iwill have to give them a try..not the prettiest shoes I have ever seen but I am atthe age now where comfort is more important to me than beauty.I got mine at EMS, too. I think I paid $50 before Christmas for the sandals. I had 20% off coupon and also bought the ugly brown Keen shoes, lol. They are the bomb! It's really hard to find shoes that are comfortable for pregnancy. They were regularly 90 something so I still paid about $70, but I have no complaints at all. You can't put a price tag on comfort during pregnancy! I've been wearing them every day. I was thinking yesterday that it's almost time to pull out those nifty Keen sandals that Santa brought for me. I also have some Teva spider rubber sandals that are outstanding for the applications I use them for (hiking, kayaking, etc.) but they probably would not be very good with heel spurs. They're not the most comfortable while you're getting used to them. The bottoms are black and I've had times where the bottoms of my feet were burning in the hot sun. They're definitely better for water/rugged applications. Those Nike Ceslos look comfortable! I think I need to look for some of those.
bayhaysay
Those Nike Ceslos look comfortable! I think I need to look for some of those. They really are like walking on clouds. They don't have a good arch to them and you when they get wet they are super slippery but for everyday wear they are great.
