GrannyRuth Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 One of my G'son is just coming into his "manhood". He likes smelling good. Anyone know what the boys/young men are wearing these days.? And maybe where I can get some/samples to start would be good. He also is just starting to shave. I see the samples, etc for girls ,anything like that for boys? Thanks & HAPPY NEW YEAR.!!
elena_398 Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 I love Drakkar, Nautica for men, Eternity, Cool Water, and Abercrombie & Fitch cologne sets. All come in great cologne sets with aftershave.
dealluvr Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 i got one of my boys Kirra from pac sun it smells really really good, not too strong either
preacherswife2 Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 I started my boys with Tommy, one of my son's still love it and started wearing it when he was 16 or 17. I have also found the clerks at the counters know what is "new" for young men if you ask her.
lnlibby Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 My stepson in all about the colognes at Abrocrombe and Fitch...it seems all the teens are into this right now!
heatherkw Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 Dolce and Gabbana, Abercrombie and Fitch, Drakkar, Tommy and Bvlgari
mmm40 Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 Royal Copenhagen..........smells sooo good. Pricey tho.
Guest koby Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 My 18 yr old dd says all the guys that where AXE smell great. A&F is good and Hollister has a good one too. AXE is probably cheaper.
sleepigrl Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 You can probably even get AXE gift sets on clearance right now. I know our Wal-Marts had them. My 16 y/o also likes Lacoste Essentials, Adidas Moves, Curve Soul, the colognes from Abercrombie, American Eagle & Aeropostale (those all smell the same to me) as well as scented body washes.
elena_398 Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 I got 4 AXE gift sets at the 50% off christmas sale at Walmart. Different scents too. I just put them away for future gifts for my son and/or his friends. I also got 2 different Antonio Banderas cologne sets at Walarmart (75% off). Surprisingly they smell great
sadmom5 Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 My son likes Crush(avaiable at macy type stores.) and if you go in they will love to give you samples, etc. I know here in southern cal, the A+E brands are considered for girls and gays. boys can be so aware of what their peers think that I would watch what I buy.
inogenius Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 My 18 yr old dd says all the guys that where AXE smell great. A&F is good and Hollister has a good one too. AXE is probably cheaper.Axe has cologne now or just the body spray? I wouldn't recommend trying to wear Axe as a cologne -- it just doesn't work.
delady Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 My Happy Harrys (Walgreens) had gift sets for 75% off. I got 3 Adidas Moves gift sets for like 4.50 and the last 2 Nautica Gifts sets for like 5.99 each!!
elena_398 Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 My son wears Curve Crush right now. He loves it. He also likes Adidas Moves. Axe too (Clik and Phoenix)
linda050103 Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 I've never smelled the AXE stuff but the Abercrombie and Hollister colognes smell good!
matchbox20girl Posted January 4, 2007 Posted January 4, 2007 My boyfriend's son is all about one of the Hollister colognes..I can't remember the name of it but he claims it's all the rage. ;-) He wears Axe, too.
pastasalad Posted January 4, 2007 Posted January 4, 2007 my son wears Abercrombie & Hollister Cologne he also has a collection of the Tag body sprays as well as axe
Guest koby Posted January 4, 2007 Posted January 4, 2007 Grannyruth, Which one did you end up getting??
saucywench Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 Aqua Di Gio by Giorgio Armani is really good a bit pricey but worth it for a good scent.
