EmConMom Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 is mostly finished. I finished my kids presents last night. When was wrapping, I could not believe how many gifts their were. I had forgotten about alot of the stuff and actually surprised myself with things that I had picked up throughout the year. DH came into the room where I was wrapping, laughed, shook his head and turned around. He then came back and helped me, and we had a good time wrapping, talking and enjoying some wine and each other's company. It was a good night. On a side note, we had to unwrap our TMX Elmo b/c dh must did something that the box kept going off. So we had this present that kept talking to us, I was laughing so hard:lmao:
dmmiller Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 LOL, was it telling you.. " ah ah uh.. no peaking..." LOL How appropriate while wrapping.
decafmom Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 Sounds like you had a nice night!! Dh and I typically watch Christmas Vacation and wrap gifts. The good thing is we don't have tons to wrap although we have not wrapped a one of them yet! We don't buy a lot for the kids, so we should be done before the movie is over. :) I don't know when we'll fit it in this year, but it will happen.
shanni Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 Must have been in the air last night, my hubby helped me wrap last night too.:)

He finds out what "santa" brings the kids when they do.Don't feel bad - it's that way here, too! But, I am used to it... and it keeps him from getting mad at me when he sees how much I bought... once it's all wrapped and under the tree - there isn't much he can do about it!

laffnatu Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 I have everything wrapped that I have bought. Hubby has some stuff in the attic that he has to wrap. I decided last year that I wasn't waiting until Christmas eve to wrap again. LOL

Kygal2003 Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 I wish I had help. My husband does NOT wrap. Nor does he shop. He finds out what "santa" brings the kids when they do.Your husband too? LMAO My DH is the same exact way!
ajburlingame Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 I am getting really depressed. It is the 20th and my parents are having Christmas on the 24th and I haven't wrapped a single present yet. I have to work tomorrow and Friday and I have a 11 month old and a 29 month old. I have got to figure out when I am going to wrap all of the gifts. I could do it in the middle of the night while everyone is sleeping but I have been SOOOOO tired. My son has been sick the last few days. I sure wish the wrapping fairy would come to my house :) I am sure that it will all get done, but it is exhausting just thinking about it.
droolbug2 Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 Your husband too? LMAO My DH is the same exact way!my hubby is the same! It's almost just as fun to see his face when the kids get their presents as it is to see theirs! He's always just as suprised by what they get!
Sunshyne Posted December 21, 2006 Posted December 21, 2006 Yeah, my husband doesn't know anything except the 3 things my oldest ds asked Santa for. I have wrapped a whole 6 presents now. I must have at least 30 to go. I am about to head to my super secret wrapping area now! lol
theboyzmom Posted December 21, 2006 Posted December 21, 2006 put my hubby on that list too! he's just as excited when the kids open their stuff lolol
