Here they are, still work in progress as I don't have all of the ornaments on. I have to give mil's camera back today and had to hurry and take the pictures. Sorry they are crappy. Both trees have clear lights and the wreath has green. if you look close at the cowboy tree you will see lots of reference to beer.lmao...:D I am also still looking for a cowboy hat for my topper for that tree.

Very cool! I love your disney tree topper. Where did you get him? The cowboy tree turned out really cute. Yesterday when we were in Atwoods they had really cheap cowboy ornaments and I thought of you. Someone was in the way looking but when I go back I will see if they have toppers. I love love love the grinch! Did you make the wreath or buy it? I may have to make one this weekend lol.

So beautiful! All of them! That grinch wreath is awesome!

My dh went to get our tree today, and he let ds (5) pick it out. It isn't even 5 feet tall! But it is very wide. I just don't like it at all, but I am watching what I say so as not to hurt ds' feelings. Sigh..It doesn't even come up to the top of the window it is sitting in front of.

I have that same topper! I've got it years ago, I can't even remember where I got it.

I have had that Mickey since I was 14... I think... so if you want one I would try ebay :P

I can't find any cowboy ornaments around here so I had a relative buy me some as a Christmas present off ebay. lol:P

I made the wreath. I picked up the grinch at Kohl's for $5 and got the rest at WM and completed the whole thing for under $20. I saw some REALLY cute present shaped ornaments that were in Seuss colors at Lowes but they only had one set and one of the 4 was broken. Besides I didn't have the cash I went to get some cheap lights. :P

I love all of the pics yall are posting! Please post more I love seeing everyone's different types of trees and decorations!

Love your trees Mandy! Are they both real and both yours?

We have had a real tree every year up until last year. I seen this one and just had to have it. The kids loved it to and agreed with me that there would be way more room for gifts with this tree. It is white pre-lit and fiber optic. It is way prettier than in the pic. The star is silver & white but showed up gold, lol

Thanks Jen, Yes they are both mine and both on opposite corners of the lr no less.:g_dance: and our lr is about 30x20. They are artificial but may as well be real due to the awful shedding. I am going to try to get one of the pics like yall have where the lights show up. Do I just turn off the flash?

Beautiful trees everyone!

A little tip for those taking pics without the flash...

If you don't have a tripod, use something to set the camera on. When you take a picture in the dark, it takes a long shutter speed. If you move even slightly while the shutter is open, it causes blur. Set the camera down on a table or a large box or anything stable and get the shot lined up and then click the shutter very carefully. The less you move, the more clear your pic will be. Hope that helps. :)

I didn't mean your pic was bad. I'm sorry if it sounded that way. I was just trying to help people who might not know about low light photography. Believe me, I didn't know until I got an expensive camera last year and then had to read and read and read some more. I still don't really know how to use most of the features. The tip I shared with you is one of the few things I *do* know, lol.

Well the only thing I did this year was string the lights. The kids picked the tree ... DH was not thrilled with it and they also decorated it. Well my DD did anyway Alex put the candy canes on. It is very old fashion hodge podge of everything. She loves that wish I could say the same ;).

Before we cut it down.

home and decorated ... notice the lights hanging low at the bottom? The cat sitting beneath the tree did that. I put them back up everyday and she takes them back down again. I have officially let go and left them alone as of tonight lol.

We have two trees up one in our dining room in our front window and one in our den ( smaller one ) where we are at all the time. I wanted a tree to look at and the one in the dining room we are never in there

Mine looks so sad too. It used to look so pretty when the kids decorated it. But we have 2 cats in the house as well as a lot of dogs.. there are no more ornaments on the bottom of the tree. I think our youngest cat left most of them under my birds cage..:D
