I switched to online shopping a couple of years ago and haven't looked back. It's so much easier, less stressful and less time consuming! I tried last year to go to walmart for the 8pm opening and it was a mad house 3 hours before the start time! You literally couldn't move inside the store and people were so rude and just uncivilized acting that I left. I'm the type that if someone snatched something from me I'd be in jail for beating the crap out of them..lol. I used to love going BF shopping before they changed the times, not so much now. The deals this year were pretty good for what I was looking for. Walmart had good deals, Kohl's was great because they started their sale online Tuesday, and Amazon always does great year round. I'm thankful to GottaDeal for everything y'all do keeping me clued into all the great deals! I save lots of money year round because of this site!

Did all of my shopping online this year. So happy not to have to go out into the craziness! I got Just Dance 2014, the fire pit, Summer Infant 3-Stage Booster SuperSeat, and the BHG wax cubes gift set. I made 3 different orders because things kept coming up in stores only, then they would change to available online. I did site to store on all of them because none of the individual orders were enough to qualify for free shipping.

I'm almost done. I have a couple of movies and games left to buy for my daughter. Then I have to find something to buy my 2 grandbabies that are both under 2 and have everything a kid could have! I got my husband and my gift taken care of ( yes, I buy my own gift ) and I have still need stocking stuffers and then I'm done.

I'm not going out this year. The stores opening so early has ruined the fun of it. Last year my Walmart was packed all day long with crazy people waiting for the sale to start. My daughter and I went at around 6pm and you couldn't move in the store. We left and came home and did our shopping online. I imagine this year will be worse with the stores opening so early. I only have a few things left to buy and I'm sure Amazon will have a deal on the things I need between now and Christmas so I'm not even bothering with all the crazy people this year. Sad though because I used to love BF shopping!

Nothing, got all my shopping done on amazon Thursday! All my packages were delivered today.

Between not having much online and then the website messing up, I bet Walmart lost a lot of online sales this year. I finally found one thing I wanted and tried for hours to checkout and it wouldn't let me. Lots of people were raising he77 on FB last night with the same problem. Walmart will never be able to compete with Amazon if the website messes up every time there is a big sale.

I missed the deal on Amazon, so when I found it on Walmarts website (for the same price, but with extra's) I jumped on it. I know WM is useless on BF...lol, but I couldn't resist trying! I just went to my local store and found something for my grandson for Christmas.

Thank you!! I was able to get through the checkout process and but now the item I had in my cart is out of stock Off to search for something else now.

I'm so dang upset with the walmart website. I've tried for 2 hours to checkout. I've tried all 3 browsers and had no luck. I knew I shouldn't have checked the website, because I found the one thing I couldn't resist buying for my grandson and now this crap happens. Never again, walmart has lost my business!

I didn't even mess with Walmart this year. I figured that they weren't going to have much online since the ad said "in stores only" on everything. On a side note, my son went to our local Walmart at 5pm got the things he wanted and got tired of waiting around so he said he figured he'd try to check out and see if they'd let him. They did!! He said the register beeped and the cashier over-rided it and let him purchase all his stuff. It was his first year going so I told him it was beginners luck..lol

They posted on FB that you can't stack coupons online, it's in-store only.

I've been wondering about this too because everything in the ad says "valid in store only". I was just looking at the Walmart facebook page and someone asked this very question. Here's Walmart's response: Walmart : Hi Kaila- Our online sales are not the same as on our in store promotions. Some of our online specials for Black Friday are currently listed on the last page of our Black Friday ad on our BF tab at http://walmarturl.com/RjpdRe. We also suggest signing up for online promotional alerts at http://www.walmart.com/cp/1100004 so when we begin to add more items, you will be the first to know. about an hour ago · Like Sooo, I'm thinking that it's going to be different online this year.

We used to leave them up until New Years day, but now that we live in a tiny apartment we take them down Christmas night.

I think it's very pretty and creative!

We put our Christmas tree up on Thanksgiving night. My daughter asked the other day if we could do it now..lol. We are already doing some Christmas craft projects, like making some ornaments and wreaths. I love having the house decorated for Christmas!
