davephillyj
I looked at all the sales I have, and didn't see any. Am I missing any or are we not going to have any this year? My kids are really into Thomas. I was going to b ut of eBay, but they are higher than the NEW ones! Folks are crazy for paying that. Thanks for any help. eparrill78
Are you looking for wooden, take along or motorized? Walmart has a motorized Giant set for $50 BF Target has coupons for a free take along engine if you buy a take along set now I think. As far as wooden, Michaels and AC Moore have 40% off coupons each week that can be used for Thomas stuff. TRU had b2gof off all Thomas wooden and diecast a few weeks ago and they may do that again before Christmas. Hope this helps a little. I have die hard Thomas fans as well. Thomas is sooo expensive:eek:
pogiporkchop
My son is asking for Thomas too, but I think he actually likes the $15 Kid Connection set at WM better. If I'm going to spend big $$ i'd rather do it on books or some other educational item :)
jenbui
Another cool idea for the Thomas lover in your life: Sam's Club sells Thomas videos with a bonus wooden train included in the packaging for only $12.42...it is mostly the engines that everyone has (Thomas, Henry, Edward, etc.) but today I saw a special edition for the holidays with an engine that had ice or snow on it. Fun stocking stuffer, especially considering those trains are normally $10 -$20 EACH, without the video.
joeyjamie
We went to AC Moore tonight with our ad and the Michaels ad also. We were looking for the $84.99 roundhouse. When we got to the register I looked again and realized the ad said 40% off cars, vehicles and engines so I went to use the coupon and it was for 50% off through tomorrow only. The roundhouse then rang up at 79.99 and they gave it to me for 50% off of that so I got it for only 41.99 with tax. I had my Michaels' ad lying on the counter and when I went to hand the track I had purchased to the cashier she said you can't use 2 coupons. She then handed the Michaels' ad and the track to my dh and told him she'd ring him up next. We were thrilled of course. Hope this helps someone else who is looking for a high dollar Thomas item.
